Ferf: Yes you do have to go to a 2 hr presentation which they say is not a big sell, wouldn't sign up to anything anyway, but on the Hilton site the King suite is $309 per night. As for the show you have to buy the tickets through their concierge, I was told any show at all no matter where as long as it was in LV or we could have $200 credit of our next hotel trip in the US or $150.00 towards show tickets.
So far all the central strip hotels are coming out expensive for 7-10 July, although the Ballys deal just posted looks interesting. Only stayed at Paris before but loved their breakfast buffet, but rooms quite expensive and I fancy a different hotel this time.

Wasnt there a price displayed on the confirmation page when you put card details in
    Hi Photome
yep the price actually went up from £1068 for 2 to £1077 for 2 when I was confirming the booking. On the expedia booking request form that has been emailed to me, it has the traveller and cost summary and gives the total price as £1077 & paid with American Express.
I have the itenerary number too so fingers crossed I am fussing over nothing.
I booked my last flights to Vegas through Expedia & I dont remember having to wait 24 hrs for confirmation....

Sounds like a bargain. Do you have a link please? I dodnt even know there was a Hilton/timeshare at the Flamingo. Is there a separate entrance?

Thanks for all replies relating to the Ballys offer.I think we probably could get away without mentioning the 17 year old daughter, but to be honest,I don't mind a room price of $86 and 2 buffet meals a day for that price. In truth,I hate Las Vegas buffets, had about 4,didn't like any of them ( maybe I'm to fussy)
In fact the last one was at Rio Carnival World,as this was meant to be one of the better ones....still didn't like it......still,$86 per night, and only 1 buffet meal out of three to pay for, isn't that bad.Maybe I could just watch them eat.:D

I have emailed travelzoo about it,and asked if they can give me more info.

Buffet breakfasts are fine. I would generally give lunch or dinner buffets a swerve unless they were a bargain.

I agree. I can just about tolerate a buffet for breakfast, but am usually disappointed if I go for dinner.

The Hilton deal sounds like a bargain then if you're OK with the presentation...and that makes sense on the tickets, if they are booked through the Hilton concierge...
Does remembering a time that a certain degree of personal responsibility was more or less standard means that I am officially old?

    Hi all,

I'm off to Vegas in 2 weeks and have found all the information in this thread incredibly useful, so thanks very much :)

I was just after your opinions really as we are booking our hotel last minute- would you choose Paris or Planet Hollywood based on them being the same price?

    Thanks all.
