Yep, just booked, seemed to good not to. We love the Wynn dinner buffet and will be even better this time as we don't have to pay! :j
For anyone else looking at the Wynn / Encore the promo code is NXWNTR3 - rooms from $139 per night including 2 buffets and $25 drinks credit (min 2 night stay) available for dates to end of April 2012.
Ahh, I'm planning my honeymoon for May and was really looking to stay at the Wynn/Encore, but they are pretty expensive, however that code fairly knocked the price down, shame it only does until end of April.
If anyone knows any other codes for the Wynn/Encore, please let me know.0 -
VALUE FOR MONEYThanks for your reply!
I have read a few negative reports of the HH rooms in PH, so am pleased we've plumped for Paris. Will definitely be trying the $20 trick too. Out of interest, what exactly do you say at check-in when trying it?!
I don't put the $20 with my ID/CC...I just hold it in my hand where he/she can see it and ask if there are any complimentary upgrades available...our stay at PH was the only time it hasn't worked.
You can read lots of experiences at Paris here to get an idea how people did it, what they asked for, etc.

I think it was stoneman who stayed in a Red Room which are their most recently renovated rooms, I think, and said that the P rooms are better (bigger?).Does remembering a time that a certain degree of personal responsibility was more or less standard means that I am officially old?0 -
A bit late now, but having stayed at both several times I would choose Paris over PH. We were upgraded to a Red Room the first time we stayed there and I hadn't even asked for an upgrade so didn't have a $20 ready and had to scramble in my bag to tip the desk clerk.
Since them I have always asked for and got a P room which we really like as it is a little bigger than the regular room.0 -
FREE ATTRACTIONShttp://www.skyjumplasvegas.com/Hours
Anyone done this or know of any discounts?
Also looking at thegunstorelasvegas.com
I know a few of ye have been. WHats the easiest way to get to it? taxi? and is it easy to get a taxi back. Read somewhere they were hard to get if you go off peak.
Thanks in advance
Late I know, but we ditched the idea of this place in favour of Discount Firearms and Ammo. A bit further off the strip, but half the price and Jay had all the time in the world for us.
BTW what is everyone's opinion of Harrah's? We've been quoted $45 a night in June which seems quite reasonable!0 -
SHOWSrelief at last!
got the confirmation email from expedia just now so we are defo going to vegas!!
6th to 16th September, Dublin to heathrow, then direct to vegas with BA for £534 each!!
Well done getting those prices for September, I tried a few dates for Glasgow but they were at least £150-200 more
Cheaper to fly from Dublin rather than direct too - Typical
We are going in March for a week but another 10 nights later in the year would be good. I'll keep looking.....0 -
VALUE FOR MONEYhi everyone
OH has said she wouldn't mind going back to LV :j (for a 3rd visit!)
we've got the first week of June booked as holiday, and although flight prices aren't too great, we can go direct (preferred) with VA for £777pp (1-7 June).
there are some ok prices at Cosmopolitan for that week, I was just wondering which rooms people recommend there as there a lots of types to choose from... terrace/city/studio, etc, etc.
we usually book through expedia and have got good deals before, but there doesn't seem to such great offers at the moment, for the beginning of June. do you think we would be better booking the flights at that price and book a hotel nearer the time, taking advantage of any offers there may be coming up?

all weekdays in June are $35/night at Harrah's via the Friends and Family code (though full pre-payment is required, still cancelable up to 72 hours before)...assuming a standard room.

We have only stayed at Harrah's once several years ago on a comped offer...got the tiniest room in Vegas I think...so hated it...probably not at all indicative of most of their rooms, but so far I have not been able to convince my hubby to give it another try...it's a great location we think...we like the casino and some of the restaurants...I would like to try it again one day.Does remembering a time that a certain degree of personal responsibility was more or less standard means that I am officially old?0 -
Not sure why some hotels ruin their reputation with rubbish entry level rooms.illegitimi non carborundum0

AS Ferf says there are cheaper rates around.
I have never stayed there but it is a fantastic location and I to like the casino, gambled there a lot last year but the pool and area isnt great which is why we often plump for Flamingo (almost) next door
Cheapovegas is good for hotel comparisons
