    hi everyone :)

OH has said she wouldn't mind going back to LV :j (for a 3rd visit!)
we've got the first week of June booked as holiday, and although flight prices aren't too great, we can go direct (preferred) with VA for £777pp (1-7 June).

there are some ok prices at Cosmopolitan for that week, I was just wondering which rooms people recommend there as there a lots of types to choose from... terrace/city/studio, etc, etc.

we usually book through expedia and have got good deals before, but there doesn't seem to such great offers at the moment, for the beginning of June. do you think we would be better booking the flights at that price and book a hotel nearer the time, taking advantage of any offers there may be coming up?

    :T

We stayed in a 1 bed terrace but not premium view ours looked out onto city centre. We were only there 1 night so not too bothered about the view but I imagine a strip view would be great.

The room was awesome, definately best room I've stayed in!

Flight...we got direct with VA from Man for 493 with miles+ flying out 9th August.:)

For anyone who likes wine and ice cream

    taken from Vegaschatter

Palazzo: The Palazzo is like a smaller and slightly more upscale Venetian. Its casino floor connects to the Venetian’s casino floor and its shopping connects to the Venetian’s mall. Hidden in Palazzo’s shopping complex is the Double Helix Wine Bar. This wouldn’t be anything special except that they also feature wine ice cream. The ice cream is delicious and, yes, it contains alcohol.

I have stayed in a 1 bed terrace premium view. Room was great, view was awesome, didnt like the japanese soaking tub, and wouldnt stay there again because the limits were to high on the tables

Well done getting those prices for September, I tried a few dates for Glasgow but they were at least £150-200 more :(

Cheaper to fly from Dublin rather than direct too - Typical

We are going in March for a week but another 10 nights later in the year would be good. I'll keep looking.....

We are so pleased with the flights. Belfast would have been easier but it was around £750/£800 per person. Its crazy because the aer lingus return heathrow flight would cost around £100 pp with baggage, so the direct vegas flight works out at just over £400 pp! :T

That seems a good price for the Bellagio, where did you see it

We've been looking on Travelsupermarket.com and they have been showing great rates for our dates. Particularly from quick rooms and LowcostUSA. Travel republic had some good prices too but couldn't quite match it.

We took the plunge this morning even though the price had gone up slightly and we've got 5 nights in the Bellagio for £397 including resort fee through LowcostUSA. Very happy :)

all weekdays in June are $35/night at Harrah's via the Friends and Family code (though full pre-payment is required, still cancelable up to 72 hours before)...assuming a standard room.

    http://www.harrahs.com/VegasVacation/index.html

We have only stayed at Harrah's once several years ago on a comped offer...got the tiniest room in Vegas I think...so hated it...probably not at all indicative of most of their rooms, but so far I have not been able to convince my hubby to give it another try...it's a great location we think...we like the casino and some of the restaurants...I would like to try it again one day.

Wow! Some of those room rates are brilliant...do they not get a bit narked if you're not friends or family of an employee? Or do they just not check?

Note, CarHire3000 offer a pricematch policy.

One other thing I've found with them - if I've made a reservation with them for a certain rate...and in checking later the price has gone down, emailing them and asking for an adjustment has always resulted in a refund to my CC for the difference (I always use the pay in full option as it used to be the cancellation rights were better, not sure if that's still the case).

Edited to add that we just booked with them for next month...it's weird to me that several people find better deals on netflights as it's never the case for us..maybe netflights just dislikes me and charges me more? :)
Does remembering a time that a certain degree of personal responsibility was more or less standard means that I am officially old?

just re-read my TR didn't realise how often I used the phrase "had a few drinks and did some gambling" :rotfl: I love Vegas!

On that topic, what are people's thoughts on Vdara? been looking and seem to have found a very good price on quickrooms.com 8 nights from sept 10 quickrooms quoting for a deluxe suite, including resort fee and taxes £582

Everywhere else all in is roundabout £1000
