We have just been offered a three night stay at Hilton Grand Vacations Flamingo in a deluxe suite three nights for $278.00, which is over the weekend in July plus a voucher for $150 towards any show in Vegas( we pay the rest). What would the LV experts suggest?
Thanks.0 -
VALUE FOR MONEY.........although Im sure its not unheard of for more than two people to be in a room unbeknown to the hotel......
Absolutely...though obviously means only 2 arriving at check-in, and the risk of getting 1-king bed instead of 2-queens and not having much way to explain why that won't do...and the 3rd person not being able to get a duplicate key if they get separated from the others as they aren't on the reservation.Does remembering a time that a certain degree of personal responsibility was more or less standard means that I am officially old?0 -

Do you have to go to a time share presentation? Not sure I've heard of a voucher good for any show in Vegas...I wonder how that would work since different hotel/casinos are owned by different groups.
July is a relatively cheap time in vegas, I think...have you looked at prices for the room on its own to see how good a deal it might be?Does remembering a time that a certain degree of personal responsibility was more or less standard means that I am officially old?0 -
problem solved, now staying at Mandalay bay/golden nugget
I stayed at the Golden Nugget a few months ago, really liked it. Make sure you use the pool there.
Their night club (Gold Diggers) has a balcony that overlooks Fremont Street so it's a good place to go to watch the Experience.....0 -
VALUE FOR MONEYThis seems like an interesting deal for Bally's...seems you can buy multiple vouchers to stay more than one night...and the fact that you can use the buffet passes at 3 different buffets means not getting stuck at the same place all the time if you do go for multiple nights.
Two dinner buffets at any of the 3 listed would cost nearly $56 on their own (without a coupon, which, OK, most of us would have)...and can't see any dates that the North Tower rooms at Bally's are anywhere near $56/night on hot deals (haven't checked F&F though).
There are black-out dates, of course...but may be interesting for someone.

Overnight stay on the Las Vegas Strip for 2 people for $56 per night
Sundays-Thursdays through August or $115 per night on weekends
Upgraded North Tower Deluxe room with marble bathrooms (reg. $139)
2 buffet passes (reg. $56) - The buffet passes can be used once for breakfast, lunch or dinner at:
• Le Village Buffet at Paris Las Vegas
• Spice Market Buffet at Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino
• Carnival World Buffet at Rio All-Suite Hotel & Casino
Purchase multiple vouchers to stay multiple nights and mix and match them for stays that include both weekdays and weekends
Buffet passes will be included for each day of stay
That is a great deal !
My only worry would be that after buying the vouchers you couldnt get the nights you want. but if they are available I would say the deal is prob unbeatable when The buffet pass (for each day) is taken in to account0 -
hi everyone.
i have just tried to book flights through expedia, and put in my card details & i have got the following email:
Thank you for choosing Expedia!
We’re currently processing your Expedia Booking Request and gathering all the necessary information to update your Trip Confirmation email which will be sent within 24 hrs
does this mean they can change the price? i am in panic now, as i have juct checked the same flights again & they have almost trebled in price from £538.50 to £1481
is this normal?
thanks0 -
VALUE FOR MONEYThanks, fancy booking a few days in August. But there will be 2 adults and a 17 year old, does anyone know if you could book this deal, and maybe pay a premium for the third person in the room.
We have been to Vegas about 10 times with our son and never paid for the extra person.
We always book a 2 queen room and I check in on my own, I normally only get 2 keys but have alwasy been asked if I want more!
On 2 occasions we havent got a 2 queen room, at Cosmo last year (I was told there was going to be a pull out bed but there wasnt) I rang housekeeping from the room to bring a rollaway, they said there would be a $30 per night charge but they didnt charge me.
The other time was at MGM where again I got a rollaway for no extra charge.
The rollaways are very comfortable as they have a full thickness mattress on them.
So as you can see if it was me, I wouldnt call the hotel but just book the 2 queen room and then if need be you can get a rollaway0 -

VALUE FOR MONEYHi guys,
Hope you don't mind giving a quick opinion on this for me.
We're going to Vegas in June for our honeymoon for 5 nights. He's mid 20s, I'm 30 and it will be our first trip to the States, nevermind Vegas. We want to stay mid-strip.
We have a provisional booking direct with the Flamingo for one of their Go rooms for £340 however I've just seen a deal for 5 nights at the Bellagio, entry level room obviously, for £375 including resort fee. That seems to be a pretty good price having looked around a lot. Reckon it's worth it? I know the room may well be smaller but we don't know if we'll go back to Vegas (depends how much we enjoy it and whether we can afford it) so it kinda appeals to stay in a 5* hotel for this trip
That seems a good price for the Bellagio, where did you see it0 -
VALUE FOR MONEYAnd that's for Thurs, Frid, Sat nights
I booked it in September last year. Their web-site was showing a Thursday night as only £30! I tried to book it but didn't get any confirmation. So I played around with some dates and got this very low price.
Not sure if it was a web-site error but I'm happy!
Lowcost have block room bookings and issue an accomodation voucher 21 days before travel so I assume the earlier you book the better bargains you get. (This was 7 months before).
I'm hoping to get upgraded as I'm a Priority Club Platinum member (though not an Ambassador-which is what these Intercontinental hotels reward).
Fantastic price, I have been checking Lowcostusa every so often for last few months but havent managed to find a deal.0
