Can anyone recommend a spa in LV?
Somewhere to spend a few hours, maybe for a massage & facial? Or manicure etc?
And any ideas on costs involved too?
Somewhere on strip as we won't have a car

Qua at Caesars is supposed to be very good. Treatments aren't cheap at $180 for a facial

My OH used the Orleans last time for a facial and loved it. I think it was around $70.
We spotted this yesterday which looks good. Think we'll be ordering today http://www.groupon.com/deals/oleksandra-spa-and-salon-1?c=all&p=130 -
VALUE FOR MONEYthere's a Groupon at the minute for the spa at TI.
$60 for $120 worth of treatments.

There's a link to the full spa menu with prices...and most hotels have a spa and a menu with prices.Does remembering a time that a certain degree of personal responsibility was more or less standard means that I am officially old?0 -
Remember with the Groupon offers that you have to tip on the full amount and not the discounted amount.0

CASINOSMrs. S loves the spa at Luxor. Very reasonable cost compared to others. I think they all now add 20% onto the bill, another Vegas rip off, there is no incentive to give good service. The common law of business balance prohibits paying a little and getting a lot. If you deal with the lowest bidder, it is well to add something for the risk you run, and if you do that you will have enough to pay for something better.0

HOTELSCan anyone offer any help, (I know I've read trip reviews about this on here but can't seem to find them) I'm looking at doing the LAX flights rather than direct then driving up to Vegas, Then staying in Los Angeles for two nights before driving down. Any advice re hotels in LA and the drive down?
Thanks0 -
Drive is easy......freeway for 300 miles then turn left at Caesars palace. Stop for lunch at Peggy Sues on the way.illegitimi non carborundum0

I'm doing the same LHR-LAX-then one night airport hotel (Priority club points)
Then hire car pickup next day, drive some sights of LA (Bro-in Law never been) then off 300 miles to LAS. Should arrive early evening:cool:
Can't see the point of staying the extra night as LA is so huge you need 2-3 days to cover main sights.
Priceline can give some good\cheap results ($45 bid-$60 total )for one nighters at LAX.0
