Zaffi Ive just booked Cosmo for 5 nights in September for part of our honeymoon. I paid £632 for terrace suite, so if you can get it for twice the length of time for £800 I would give it a go!
When we were last in Vegas we there 1 month before Cosmo opened so I always said if I went back I would defo want to stay there!!

Zaffi...I can't comment on the vdara although it does look lovely, however....we stayed at the cosmo last year and it was fantasic. We have a premium terrace and it was quite simply amazing!!

We kepy looking at staying there again this year but decided to try elsewhere. Saying that.....I would love to stop there again and if the price had been better for our dates I'm sure we would have gone for it.

thanks guys, What we were talking about last night was, are we too young to stay in Vdara? We like the buzz and atmosphere of stepping out your room and having bars and restuarants and the casino floor right there, and a balcony doesn't hurt!! Vdara just doesn't have that. I'm going to book the cosmo and see if the price match plays out, if it doesn't we may keep looking, or stick with vdara.

Vdara doesn't offer the casino/bars/busy lobby, but the Aria and Bellagio are only minutes away...

For us (early 30s) we love staying at Vdara, because we know all the buzz and atmosphere is minutes away, but the hotel itself offers a bit of an oasis and a moment to breathe (clean air as well as peace!). the pool is nice and usually quiet but with a good atmosphere.

only you can decide really, but we certainly cannot knock the Vdara's quality and staff, always first class in our experience :)
  • Hi, me and my boyfriend are staying at the cosmo on 9th sept 11nights cant wait :-)

From the sound of what you are saying you would love the Cosmo. Very much a younger crowd from what I saw, the terrace pool was fantasic, loud music etc..... Theres also a quieter pool although we didn't check that out. Stored like All Saints in the Hotel. The more I think about it I wish we were staying there this year. Might do some price checks :-)

Airport to NYNY is roughly a 5-10 minute journey.
You can get airport transfer + strip tour. its more expensive but a little longer.

Well I'm prepared to a certain degree...just not ready :rotfl:

Shopping on Sunday for honeymoon clothes and everything else.

I've booked all the trips, shows, hotels, etc so we just need to read the guide books properly.

Wedding panic is currently at a critical level. :o

Can't wait either, never been to LV!

We found Presidential to be good, but a lot depends on which driver you get. They provide a bottle of bubbly and a rose for the ladies.

As it was the same price for an airport to hotel transfer as for an hour hire, I made sure I asked for the hour tour.

They normally count the time from the time the plane lands for domestic flights, but I don't know about international flights.

I had specified a time and we arrived on a domestic flight. Our driver was there with our name on a board when we had collected our luggage, but I don't know how long he had been waiting.

He took the tunnel, which wasn't a problem seeing as it was pre-paid. We asked if he could take us to a liquor store and to the Welcome to Las Vegas sign which he did. We got to the hotel 45 mins after the journey started.

We tipped 20% although I have seen posts on TA about tipping $20-30.
