VALUE FOR MONEYI will also nosey at Ross' which a few people don't enjoy, its a bit like our TK Maxx you can find some bargains but have to be ok with looking for them.
They have TK Maxx in Vegas too...except it's TJ Maxx in the US.
I think one of my things with outlets is by their nature you never really know what you will find - sometimes they can be brilliant, and sometimes they can be a bit rubbish...I have a low shopping tolerance so they aren't always the best for me...now my sister....
Don't forget to join the VIP club (first mentioned by Luci and free) as you can print out additional discounts/coupons before you go.

CASINOSYes have been to TJ Maxx too!:)
I know what you mean about Ross' depending on my mood I can walk in and straight back out!
The ones off strip are less busy so easier to spend a little more time in, for me its not so much the looking as the amount of people in.0 -
We are going to the Desert Rose Resort in 5 weeks time, and have noticed that they have had problems with credit card fraud. Do we have to give them our credit card details or can we leave a deposit in cash?
The accomodation has already been paid for as part of our package holiday.

Hi!
We're heading to Vegas on our honeymoon at the end May/early June! We're going for 5 days and there's 3 shows we want to see:
Phantom of the Opera
The Beatles Love
Penn & Teller
We've seen different prices online, but can anyone advise how much these shows should cost for average seats? Also, is it best to book them before we go, or can we get them cheaper when we're there?
Thanks!:j0 -
VALUE FOR MONEYif you go to the box office for each show you can see what tickets cost at face value...ordering online may incur extra fees (Ticketmaster, etc).
There's a discount for Phantom here:
http://www.travelzoo.com/entertainment/las-vegas/-66-Final-Months-Phantom-in-Las-Vegas-Reg-148-1180197/?ptl=done&rating=&tppct=
P&T is regularly discounted - may be worth checking travelzoo and smartervegas on the run up to your trip to see what may pop up.
For Love, we have seen it twice once from the front row and once from nearer to the back - the latter was much better and cheaper.
With the exception of maybe bestofvegas.com...it seems like a lot of the 3rd party ticket resellers aren't that good of a deal...we pretty much always just book through the box office/Ticketmaster...though the latter's fees are evil.Does remembering a time that a certain degree of personal responsibility was more or less standard means that I am officially old?0 -
And you can go to the tix4tonite booth when you are there for something in the region of 40% discount.....but its only on the day and its pot luck as to what shows they have availability for.illegitimi non carborundum0

many places will allow a cash deposit...pretty sure that someone here stayed there after the issues started and were able to leave a cash deposit.Does remembering a time that a certain degree of personal responsibility was more or less standard means that I am officially old?0 -
CASINOSForgot to say, when I was at Aria last week they were filming something. Then I saw that said they were filming a new major motion picture, so do not enter the area unless you are happy to appear in the background of the film. It said the name but I can't remember. It was 4 words, I remember that much...0

We are also going in late May, and have been several times. They asked for $100 deposit for us. Its a great place to stay and I'm sure you will enjoy it. The only hassle is you have to wait while security make sure you haven't left a tiger in there as in Hangover etc! Usually takes 10 mins.0
