Anyone Got a Good Man?

I have a good man too. I've had a stinking cold for ages now and have had to work over the holidays. He has not complained at all about me being confined to the sofa with a box of tissues. He carried our DS's telescope for over a mile up a hill because we couldn't park in town. He's a good 'un!Debt: 16/04/2007:TOTAL DEBT [strike]£92727.75[/strike] £49395.47:eek:   £43332.28 repaid 100.77% of £43000 target.MFiT T2: Debt [STRIKE]£52856.59[/STRIKE] £6316.14 £46540.45 repaid 101.17% of £46000 target.2013 Target: completely clear my [STRIKE]£6316.14[/STRIKE] £0 mortgage debt. £6316.14 100% repaid.0

I have the most amazing husband.
He makes me laugh every day, is hard working and loves me for who I am despite all my faults.....and I have quite a few
We got together when I was 15 (he was 19) We have been together for almost 17 years, married for almost 12, have two beautiful children together and I adore the ground he walkes on.
He is my best friend and my soul mate.0 -
I have a good one too. He gets up first at the weekend and brings me tea in bed, he texts me at work when there are problems with the trains so I can leave a bit early, he drives me to and from the station during May and June (when caterpillars, my phobia, hang down from the trees on my route to the station  ) even though it's only 6 minutes from door to platform by foot. He drives my son to College one day a week when I can't. He's the one that always makes sure DS's mobile is charged before he goes out with his mates and he does all the washing, dusting and hoovering. He's also hilarious (even if he does always ruin it by explaining the joke afterwards.)
He's a moody sod at times so he's not perfect but he's perfect for me :AMake £25 a day in April £0/£750 (March £584, February £602, January £883.66)
December £361.54, November £322.28, October £288.52, September £374.30, August £223.95, July £71.45, June £251.22, May£119.33, April £236.24, March £106.74, Feb £40.99, Jan £98.54) Total for 2017 - £2,495.100 -
You know, I could post for hours - threads and threads and threads - about the things which my OH does that annoy me. They're all pretty minor.
Underneath it all is an emotion which goes something like this:

(N.B. I am not a member of either Salt-n-Pepa or En Vogue, so this is not a referral thread).
OP, thank you for a great - and long overdue - thread, which recognises the existence of the good man (a far more common type than you would ever guess from reading internet message boards etc).0 -
My wife is the luckiest lady alive............she's got me.;)Be Alert..........Britain needs lerts.0

Mine's a star! He's kind, generous, always there for me and I can't wait for retirement in a few years time when we can spend all our time together. He's clever, funny, opinionated, sensitive, assertive and annoying at times but I wouldn't change him for the world as he's just adorable!
He had a very bad first marriage (as did I) and we're very, very grateful for what we have together.
Priceless.0 -
Mr Spirit is lovely. Kind, does loads around the house, bakes wonderful bread, all the ironing, busy job, great dad, witty, fit, loving.
I would be incomplete without him.0 -

Some of us are great if i do say so myself. All you need to do is catch us then lock us in the cellar so we cannot escape.
:)
Hi there! We’ve had to remove your signature. It was so good we removed it because we cannot think of one so good as you had and need to protect others from seeing such a great signature.0
