Anyone Got a Good Man?

There are so many threads on how bad husbands are so I thought I would start one on good men. At the risk of seeming boastful I would like to give my husband some praise.
He is now 61. He has worked hard all his life and is still working in a manual job. He has provided well for the family. All his money is paid into our joint account.
He likes a drink, a beer when he comes in from work but he can take it or leave it. He is a non-smoker.
He will do anything for anyone. He is generous with money and will give money when it is needed. He is always the first to offer to pay for a round of drinks.
He takes care of himself, is well groomed and slim. Always clean and tidy.
He has a sense of humour but is a little bit obsessed with politics and can sometimes be a grumpy old man with his moaning. However, if that's his worst fault its not bad. He is very sociable and fun to have around with the family.
He spends all his free time working on the house - is out there screeding the new extension as I speak. Has spent the whole holiday apart from Christmas Day and Boxing Day working. He cooks meals quite frequently and does housework. He always did more than his share of looking after the children, taking care of them.
He loves going out, loves days out, holidays. Loves the sea. I could go on and on.
Please feel free to say nice things about your men. However, if I get a lot of flack about this I will just delete this post as I can't be asked to have a row about it.
Oh and he's handsome too.

I have a good man, I'm pleased to say. Couldn't ask for a better one! Grumpy and bad tempered at times, but heart of pure gold. Love him!0

Finally after 2 crap marriages and goodness knows how many duds I have an amazing man
He'd share his last penny with anyone, always cooks and none of that blerdy performance about it either! The cleaning is done by whoever gets there first when it needs doing, no asking required. He makes me tea in the morning if he's up first, he listens (really listens) and will always do whatever he can to help. Ok, he's not practical and can't drive or organise (dyspraxia) but that just adds to his charm in some ways. Anyway, I'm a dab hand with all that sort of stuff..... a match made in heaven:D Oh lucky, lucky me.

How lucky you are. I had a good man once but I mislaid him. Perhaps there's another one out there somewhere?0

Me too, mine is the best, currently pregnant to him and couldn't be happier. My family are coming new years eve so he has been busy painting bathroom and putting new blind up yesterday and today.
Wouldn't change him for the world.0 -
I have a good man, he's playing with our baby as I type. I hate all the man-bashing I read, it's very sexist.0

My hubby is a good man!
We have been married 6 years and together for 8.
I love him very much and we are currently waiting for our first child to be born
I am expecting it to be hard work but we will do it together.
He looks after me well and is very kind.
He gets extra brownie points for bringing me a rose from the garden Christmas morning!0 -
I have a wonderful husband too. He is a brilliant dad and does his fair share of housework and all of the cooking (well amlost, apart from ironing) so I am definately not complaining:j
I know I am just soooo lucky.
Good post OP, I am more than happy to praise my husband:)
