Anyone Got a Good Man?

Great idea for a thread! How lovely to see some positivity.

My husband has not been my husband very long (only 8 months) but we've now been together for 7 years in total. He's sensitive. He's intellectual. He's got a sense of humour. He's openminded and loves to travel. He invests in good stuff rather than indulging in the consumerism of today that seems to prize quantity over quality. He cooks from cuisines from all around the world (and probably cooks for me more than I cook for him!). He's romantic. He knows how to clean (and even irons his own shirts ). He doesn't mind sharing the bed not only with me but also with 5 stuffed animals (as well as sharing the sofa with me and a stuffed mongoose). He is my shoulder to cry on and the one I vent to. He'll defend me to the hilt but will also tell me to shut up when needed He's cultured but can be silly too. He's into grooming, but not *too* into grooming He drinks and drives sensibly (not at the same time!) and doesn't smoke or do drugs. He has never laid a finger on me and we have only ever had one argument. He does all of the driving (I don't yet have a licence ), is polite to my parents (even though he doesn't always like them much), has introduced me to all kinds of music that I would have never listened to before, and even though (despite all the above) he is not perfect, I couldn't imagine my life without him.

My husband works way too hard, I barely see him during the week but he makes me laugh - proper belly laughs every day - whether it be face to face, on the phone, email or text. We have a sense of humour between us that I don't think anyone else would get. We seem to have a very un-straightforward life together that started when I was barely 20 and met him in a bar but almost 14 years and 2 children later, despite all the crazy, weird stuff that goes on around us, I adore him.

He drives me insane sometimes, and can be very grumpy..particularly first thing in the morning, but he is a lovely, kind man and our little boy adores him

There are occasions when I have to gently nudge him so that 'Good' becomes 'Amazing', but as he's chronically ill, working full-time and studying towards a degree with the OU, I'm quite happy with a simple 'Good'!

I am married to an amazing man who took me and 2 babies on 12 years ago, and has never once complained or said he regretted it (babies are now teens and are testing us !!!), i love him with all my heart and i know i found my soulmate, I hope i go first because i could not carry on without him....

Ive been with my OH for nearly a decade now and he means the world to me..
Every New Year's Eve at 11.59pm,he ALWAYS asks me if i fancy going for another year as a duet and my response has always been the same---Yes please!lol

We've been through alot together but as we all know,nothing that kills you only makes you stronger..:wall::wall::wall::wall:

Nearly lost my best friend two years ago when some drunk knocked him down at a red traffic light!! :mad::mad::mad::mad::mad:

He has always been there for me,when im down,he picks me up with his funny jokes,lovely text messages.He cooks (im a lousy cook and ive been talking about learning to cook ever since we met but i seem to burn anything in the kitchen!-Maybe im doomed!..hm).He's funny,kind,wears his heart on his sleeve,can be annoying at times but I'M 10 times worse!,the list is endless...

He's a very hard worker...(He always says that he'll stop working when he dies).

He's a great dad,my partner in crime,he's everything to me-dont know what i'd do without him...(Deary me!-Feeling emotional just talking about him...)

All in all, HE'S MY BETTER HALF....:happyhear:happyhearxxx

Lovely thread..yes i have a very good man..we have been married for 25 yrs and have 6 children together and i'm currently expecting our 7th...he is so generous,very funny..and most of all he is my best friend...i absolutely adore him and so do our daughters and son..he is a great man.
