I ordered from Amazon recently. A £300 KitchenAid and I was really worried when I saw all these posts about Yodel. I have to say they were absolutely fine delivering my package. The estimated delivery date was 16th January and it arrived this afternoon with the box all intact. It was refreshing to have a good experience when I was expecting a bad one.0

Contacted Yodel via their site to arrange a return to Amazon pick up;-
12-01-12, on Yodels site to request pick up between 1000-1430 or after 1645 on 13-01-12
13-01-12, (Friday), Yodel turned up at 1045, with all the correct paperwork and duly took parcel after leaving me with receipt.
18-01-12 @0800, received an e-mail from Amazon informing me the parcel had arrived and my refund is in progress, and as it was picked up on a Friday that is only 3/4 working days for the return to Amazon.
Some seem to be having problems with Yodel, but this is my first time dealing with them, and whilst I do usually get the bad experience what/whenever, this time I had a good service from them.
So am impressed with them, although as said only time of dealing with them.

So far for me, Yodel have been fine, each time delivered on time or returned to depot if they missed us, and I just arrange a pickup.
I am fairly happy with most couriers , expect for Hermes which to this day I will avoid.
Power is good, but then you get the bill....0 -
Well tracked my Amazon parcel this morning only to discover it is out for delivery from Colchester Essex depot, bizarre as my local is Ipswich Suffolk and all my Yodel parcels have gone to the latter... no idea why it was sent there, I just hope the driver can find me....
And will have to wait in, which is a shame as the Ipswich driver was inherited from HDNL and he is great and usually turns up roughly at the same time which is a bonus. Do need to go out today so will hang on until 1/2pm and hope if I miss them today they will re-attempt Monday/ next week as not planning to go out much next week.
Glad I opted for Parcelforce and not Yodel when doing another order yesterday lol... Apart from occasional poor tracking I have had no complaints with Yodel until now, it is stupid going to the Colchester depot and not Ipswich!!
This is because there are two different Yodel operations now. Your Ipswich guy (ex HDNL) works in exactly the same way as my Yodel guy, very reliable, delivers same time every day, never had a failed delivery/collection etc.
However, the other Yodel group (your Colchester guy) are self-employed couriers often working for more than one company. Ours also delivers for Hermes and DHL and is absolutely useless. Hope you managed to get your delivery ok in the end.“You can please some of the people some of the time, all of the people some of the time, some of the people all of the time, but you can never please all of the people all of the time.”0
