Should you not email your picture to Amazon to make them aware of what is happening to their goods ...?0

Unless the Amazon management reside in Outer Mongolia, they have full knowledge of what is happening, but are just ignoring. (which they will keep doing until their profits start getting hit).0 -

Have negative experiences of all courier companies-but especially Yodel. They threw a parcel in a bin 20 houses up ,it was found because someone I knew was looking after the house while the owners were away.He retrieved the parcel and delivered it. I complained to the senders who seemed suitably concerned and said they would chase it up-never got feedback. E mailed/rang Yodel and was finally told 'we have no record of a delivery to that address '! -ie mine .
Haven't ordered from that sender since-not because the goods weren't good, because they were but the 'delivery' a nightmare. The only company that has seemed bothered is Lakeland-they actually seem to understand that however good the products/company service is it is totally ruined if what you've paid for is dumped anywhere torn and battered.
As for the parcels on the doorstep-we have 'scrap metal merchants' who regularly cruise the area picking up whatever they find, and then there is the rain/passers by etc
Hate courier companies-have even offered to pay extra for a Royal Mail delivery but companies don't seem to take any of this on board0 -

I do my best to avoid Yodel, they are a nightmare EVERY time. Customer service is totally non-existent. They seem to think that they have the parcel, which you obviously want, therefore they don't particularly care as they will get paid regardless.
They came to us on 30/12, and none of the 4 of us (or even the dog) heard them at the door. They pushed through a card with no parcel number on it, eliminating the option to rearrange online or via the automated service. Finally located a number via saynoto0870 and spoke to the depot, who surpassed themselves when having explained the above... asked for the parcel number :mad:Still looking for the plot...... Anyone seen it???0 -
I have just done so, not that i expect anything from them, maybe a sorry, but the parcel i assume left their warehouse in perfect condition.
The parcels are loaded onto trailers along with thousands of others, all stacked on top of each other. The loaders have to work very quickly so cannot always stack things perfectly-its just not possible in the time and space available so this can happen.
However, companies can go a long way to stopping this by packing this properly in the 1st place.Amazon are very good at putting little things in massive boxes, the result being that the space between the item inside and the top of the box gets crushed and can pop the lid open.If the item was in a better sized box this doesn't happen.
Your parcel looks like something else leaked on it, sometimes it just cannot be helped. The driver waited while you checked it(as I would have too, although out of courtesy as we do not have to wait if people want to check things).Other than replacing any damaged items(you already said they weren't), I don't see what else Amazon can do.0 -
My Amazon order from December wasn't delivered. Yodel's tracking showed it as left in the porch. We live in a terraced house and don't have a porch.
I emailed Amazon, who refunded, and said:
"We realise this incident reflects negatively upon Amazon.co.uk and the feedback you've provided will be used in reviewing the service provided by Yodel"
Nothing will change though.0 -

Exactly this for me today! Tracking said 'left in porch' - I don't have one! Phoned Amazon and they sent me an email saying that yodel had left it in a safe place outside my front door - on a main road opposite a bus stop. Needless to say I didn't get my parcel. I hope they refund me...0 -

Yup agree with you, the lady has delivered to us before, and is always nice and polite, thankfully i haven't had a problem, she was very patient with me as well and helped, the fact she knows i am disabled as well, not that it has anything to do with this, she is just a nice delivery person, i can't fault her, i remember now she has delivered DS phones from O2 and my lakeland parcels and none have been damaged, she's lovely0
