    Ok confession time from me.

Went on a 99p store and Tiger mad one yesterday!

Ok some 'essentials' toothpaste, ladies provisions; some useful - candles, kitchen scissors (as I am so sick of them disappearing! I wanted anothe pair), meat thermometer, spices, sheepskin shoe liners, potato grow bags and some indulgences - Lindt Teddy and Toffeefee.

I redeemed myself somewhat in Waitrose as I had decided to do a picky bits dinner and there was loads of reduced stuff.

Actually obtaining it without it being snatched from my mitts was another matter!

I also bought some crampons from Amazon for £3 the other day but that was sensible I think!
Here dead we lie because we did not choose
To live and shame the land from which we sprung.
Life, to be sure, is nothing much to lose,
But young men think it is,
    And we were young.

Perhaps I can consider it as an essential though!

Come on don't leave me failing on my own!

  • Has anyone read 'How I Lived a Year on Just a Pound a Day'? I'm borrowing it from the library and I must say it's a pretty inspiring read!
