I think I've given up! xxxHere dead we lie because we did not choose
To live and shame the land from which we sprung.
Life, to be sure, is nothing much to lose,
But young men think it is,
And we were young.

Hi Folks,
Well I'm not sure whether to report my spend as a Wall Of Shame spend or not. I bought some flowers for some troughs for my garden, and whilst they could be classed as an un-necessary spend, I'm not at all sorry that I bought them as they are really pretty and the hummingbirds keep visiting them which is giving Hubby and I lots of enjoyment.
Actually I've just realised Hubby will be paying the credit card bill when it comes so he'll be paying for them, so I don't have a spend to declare as it didn't come out of my budget :T0 -
Blimey hummingbirds how fab!
Are you in America?
I have bought loads of plants too but very necessary!
Otherwise I have failed miserably anyway!!Here dead we lie because we did not choose

Hi rubytuesday,
I'm a Brit in Canada. I'd never seen hummingbirds up close before and they are the cutest, they can be a bit aggressive with each other though, their colours are amazing. I have photos of them in mid flight and was going to use one as my avatar-thingy, but the picture was too small, so you've all got a daisy instead.
My plants started off really well but I've lost a couple recently because we've had so much rain, but I'm really pleased that we got them (especially as I didn't pay for them
) as they've really brightened up my balcony.
Hope you're enjoying your flowers too.
Don't be too down about over spending, I know it's easier said than done, but at least we're trying.
ETA: Have you changed your picture?0 -
Oh that's exciting Kerfuffle!
I am enjoying resident foxes and Robins in my garden.
I'd love to see a pic anyway so please post in the thread
Ever since my birthday I seem to have been spendy spend spendy - mainly in the charity shop and on plants as I said but it all adds up.
I changed my pic but a few months ago - that is my darling cat Marmalade who sadly is now pushing up the daisies in my garden.
She was only seven bless her - liver cancer but she did live for nearly a year longer than anticipated and depleted all my savings bless her! XHere dead we lie because we did not choose
