  • Morning all. Have snow here at the moment but not too bad. Just feel like I want to hibernate at the moment but that's not really an option.

However I'm pleased to report a 1lb loss this week. Very happy with that. Hope everyone stays safe and warm
  • Hi All,

Today, I am preparing smoked haddock in a parsley sauce for dinner tonight.. Instead of using butter & flour to thicken the milk that I have poached the haddock in, I will use a little cornflour instead.

I am planning to serve it with salad potatoes and cabbage.. I will mix black pepper and butter through the cabbage so I am saving the butter for that.. as I'll be able to dip my potatoes into my fish sauce... :j

It's my free day on the wii biggest loser so I'll do an hour on Wii Sport/Fit... I'll do 30 mins on the tennis and then 30 mins on the step etc of wii fit... I also have a victorian house which needs cleaned so with lugging the vacuum up and down the stairs and cleaning, I'll have done a decent workout... :A

Hope you all have a good weekend... and I'll pop onto the forum when I get a chance to see how everyone is getting on and for motivation and encouragement for the forthcoming week..

The snow hasn't arrived yet and it is beautiful and sunny.. but I'll nip down early afternoon and shut the chooks away while the steps are still clear... :)

    Take care
  • Hi All,

I have also taken my eye off things and I too have a +2 I am really not surprised I have been eating cake all week - done no tracking on MFP and no exercise.

I hope this week will be a better week although I have my daughters birthday and need to make a cake and the buns etc :o

Need to make myself a plan ... I have a lot on at the moment but I seem to be putting myself last as usual. I am also making the same excuse that I did last time when I failed to lose weight.

NO MORE EXCUSES - I must be good!!

Hey ladies. Reporting a 1lb loss here too. Should think myself lucky I suppose considering the number of Mini Moos I munched. Went out for tea at Las Iguanas last night and was very good - still dd not have a glass of wine.
Back for the No Buying Toiletries challenge. I pledge to only buy when I run out of a product that is not already in my stash no matter what wonderful emails land in in my Inbox or threads I read on MSE re: glitches!

  • Hi everyone,

Pleased to report a 1 lb loss, was actually expecting a sts so really pleased.
Have got HM shepherds pie tonight with cabbage and carrots.

Snowing really heavily here and has been since around 10am, so no exercise for me today.

Hope everyone is keeping warm, this weather is no good dieting is it ?
Must also add hope everyone gets home safely tonight

Now, I "forgot" to weigh in this morning

I could be generous to myself and say it was because I was so concerned about checking the state of the weather, but really I think it indicates how far off the ball I have taken my eye this week!!:o I therefore do not expect any good news from the scales

So, I will weigh in tomorrow morning and post it up Oh Madam Dragon (feel free to fire up the flamer if I don't!)

I will also make a real effort to post my daily eatings here (and be honest about it!):A

B- 2weetabix, hot skim milk, orange juice
l- hm spicy carrot soup, thin crackers,
    d- chicken & mango casserole
s- alpen bar, sm toffee crisp biscuit
e- shivering on the usual dog walks!

PS after all the excitement about the dire weather, preparing for the worst, schools closed early, we've had almost 1/2cm snow all day!!! Now, I really feel for anyone who's having problems due to the bad weather but I do feel a little left out!:snow_grin
