    Hello again!
I've had the most bonkers week - working late, parents evenings, snow, stress - you name it its happened!
Food hasn't been brilliant (not totally awful but nowhere near a "diet") and miraculously I have managed to stay the same. I have done quite a bit of dogwalking but no "formal" exercise and I'm very premenstrual with big boobs and bloated water retention belly so a STS is actually a triumph for me!

Have just done the food shopping and so now have no excuses to not be good.
  • Hi Guys,

I have STS this week - I'm not surprised, to be honest I'm just glad I didn't put anything on. We've had a close friend staying this week - his wife tragically died a few months ago so it's been a very emotional visit. It was really good to see him and his daughter but it was hard too and I've not had time for any exercise or to really plan what to eat (just lots of warm comfort food for us all). Then the day after he left it was my birthday, DH made me a lovely dinner and the kids bought me a delicious cake.

Back on the wagon this week and I am now sitting planning the next fortnights meals.

  • Morning everyone!

No snow here in Carlisle - think we've been lucky to miss it so far!

Annoyed to report a 1.5lb gain, bringing me only half a pound away from the dreaded 10 stone.

As I said before, I'm not really reducing my cals by an awful lot - 250 less a day, which should give half a pound of weight loss per week. But I am doing a lot more exercise - an hour extra, every day! And that should really all add up to give me a deficit of 500cals a day and 1lb loss a week.

I was so annoyed at my gain, I got to work immediately and worked out for an hour!
    Today's food so far
S: mango, cup of green tea
B: banana and low fat Greek yogurt, 1/2 tsp honey, 50g hm soda bread and cup of green tea

Rest of the day - got some leftover wholemeal pasta which I'll have with a boiled egg for lunch and don't know what yet for dinner - maybe fish.
Will try and get out for a long walk in the cold this afternoon, although I always end up in a shop buying a bar of chocolate for a treat!

Well done "losers", got some big losses this week! I can only hope to do the same next week!:D

Morning all, well done losers, sts's and tryers :)

B - spicy fruity porridge, sk milk
L - hm broccoli and Stilton soup, it's so thick that half a mug is very filling so I have to add a little water, which means that the bowlful in the fridge is going to last longer than I thought :). 1/2 banana in a WW wrap.
D - steak and onion casserole with a small dumpling and a spoon of mash. It's in the sc now and is making my mouth water!
S - grapes, satsuma, apple, melon

Remember to look out for singles/elderly living nearby and ask if they need bread, milk etc when you do your shopping.

Take care, stay safe and warm :)
