Afternoon all, have had a good day today, feeling positive and making the most of my Hairy bikers diet cookbook :) Chicken jalfrezi tonight :) Had ready brek with strawberries and semi skimmed milk for breakfast and a sw cooked breakfast for lunch :) my ratio for my ready brek is 1/2 measuring cup of ready break to just short of 1 cup of milk :)

Ooh let me know how the chicken jalfrezi is. I made a batch of muesli tonight and will be having a portion for breakfast tomorrow with some black forest fruits from the freezer and fat free natural yogurt. We've also made the granola and compote this week but it's all gone now.

Have not been good the last couple of days. Had a weak moment in ASDA yesterday lunch time and bought a bag of Mini moo biscuits. Have managed to scoff the lot at work since then. Maybe the cold is getting to me too.
Back for the No Buying Toiletries challenge. I pledge to only buy when I run out of a product that is not already in my stash no matter what wonderful emails land in in my Inbox or threads I read on MSE re: glitches!

Love it.... Your comment made me smile.. A piece of Thornton's toffee jumped into mine when I was clearing out the paper rack !

I wasn't going to say anything, but you put it in such an innocent way that we can blame the fruit jelly and the Thornton's toffee... :rotfl:

Errrghhh I am in complete marking hell and only one thing would make it bearable......a glass of wine and some chocolate! Well, that was two things... But I WILL BE STRONG!

    ...maybe

Daisiegg I feel your pain...and doesn't it feel SO much worse when the work you are marking is pure and utter drivel
Marking led to my last food downfall on sunday night.

Be strong!!!!! Becuase I sure as hell wasn't and then I realised not only did I still have a pile of marking to do, I was going to put weight on as well...double whammy of evil!

Thanks! Glad I'm not alone! To be fair, once I got through Year 8 gothic stories ('brother' misspelled as 'brothel' all the way through a story, anyone?!) I am now on to top set GCSE work so it is anything but drivel. But they write soooooooo much which means marking takes forever.... HOWEVER, I resisted wine and I had a small bit of cocolate that still left me under my calorie allowance for the day :)

Well it is 6.30am and I have already driven to London and back in -7 degrees....conquered driving in London for the first time! Had to take OH to the airport, his firm won't pay for taxis anymore and we are trying to save money so I took him. I was incredibly nervous as I have never driven in London before, hate driving in the dark, and the sat nav didn't work! But I made it alive....although now I am ABSOLUTELY STARVING (probably the nervous energy?!) and am seriously tempted to defrost the leftover pizza from last Saturday night for breakfast!! But I won't... :(

Have a parents' eve tonight so won't have much in the way of dinner - maybe beans on toast when I get home.

Hope everyone has a good day - time for one last push before weigh in tomorrow :)

morning all. Am feeling like carp today, have been awake since 3.30am (dont ask!) and couldnt get back to sleep. Was hoping to doze off once DS went to college but now the council grass cutters are out on the school field opposite my house and there is no way I will get back to sleep with all that noise :(

    Plans for today

B - poached egg with beans
L - soup or instant noodles
D - chicken fajhitas with corgette & pepper, 1 wrap, chopped fresh tomatoes

snacks - will try and just have fruit today - mindful of weigh in tomorrow ;)

exercise - lots of cleaning, hoovering needs doing & floors need washing. Will try and get out for a walk later if sciatica allows

    Have a good day x

daisiegg well done on the driving in the city! Now you've done it once you know you can do it.

I've been doing not too badly this week, the scales this morning were looking promising, but...I'm going out with friends for a meal tonight. Probably not the best night to choose, with weigh in the next morning! And next week I've arranged a takeaway and wine night with a friend for a birthday celebration. My mindset is these occasions don't come up that often so I should relax and enjoy them, but on the other hand I don't want to undo all my efforts. I guess it's all part of learning to change my eating habits.

And so far I'm not missing the big C at all :)

If you could live one day of your life over again, which day would you choose?

    Morning all,

My Ww weigh in last night. I managed a 1.5 lb loss despite being in Australia for the last five weeks, so very pleased. Also got my official 2 st. Just another two to go:eek: am exercising on the wii and the treadmill a lot at the mo, although I prefer to be outside its just too cold. Food today

B scrambled egg, one slice brown toast and an orange
L LF sandwich and a freddo
D tuna pasta with salad and green beans

Snack Ww bar and a LF hot chocolate

Have a good day all x
