  • Afternoon, all,

Well, today was the end of my first week using the wii Biggest Loser and after I did my exercises, it was also my first weigh-in... I am really pleased even though I know that it is mostly fluid in the first week but maybe a wee tiny bit might be fat! :j

As I don't think I can change the weigh-in to a Friday, I'll just keep my results until Friday and post them here.. :)

In case anyone is interested in how I am approaching this...

    I have several golden rules:

1 Absolutely no rubbish shall pass my lips

2 I shall only eat at meal times

3 I shall only put enough on the plate as per recommended portion sizes

4 I shall not make any sandwiches unless as a substitute meal.. (because if I don't have bread, I don't use butter and I don't have a filling...)

5 I shall only have wine at weekends - either the Sat or the Sun

6 I shall never feel guilty... 'because if I feel bad, I eat! :o

7 If I have a dessert, it will consist of fruit or yoghurt

8 I shall drink as much tea or coffee as I like as I use sweetener and very little semi-skimmed milk...

9 I shall make any meals that I fancy as long as it is not deep-fried, lagered in fat or sugars.... but fats & sugars in moderation..

    10 I can't think of a tenth one..:rotfl:

D - slow cooked sweet and sour pork with small portion of noodles
    S - kiwi, apple, tba......

Hope you all have a great day.

Just had to make menu choices for Sat staff do - been good and chosen roasted cod for mains with tomato cous cous, so about as healthy as I can get (until it turns up dripping in butter! Best laid plans and all that) and will skip desert, but will have champagne (as it is lower in calories than wine anyway so clearly better for you!)
Been quote good, but struggling with MFP shouting at me about sugar - and its all due to fruit, carrots, red peppers. But I like fruit and veg so I am getting to the point where I am going to ignore it and only worry about the sugar in any treats I chose to add.
Need to do more - jog /walked up and down so many escalators yesterday (I counted and I did 14!!!) so has to be good for me! Also walked a stop further down the line than I needed to walked a bit further and walked to and from station (mile each time!) Did not a lot more on top of that one but some yoga stuff at home

    Hello everyone,

Well done on all the progress so far :T

I have only now had a chance to weigh myself as things are a bit fraught in RL at present, and I have to admit to 1lb gain

Will do better this week and also focus on doing weigh in at the right time. :o
