Simmed - those sorts of comments are really unhelpful and unfriendly. Please refrain from making them as this is a supportive thread and our whole ethos is to encourage people. In our "book" - a STS or small loss is very positive.
I must not fear. Fear is the mind-killer.
Fear is the little-death that brings total obliteration.
I will face my fear. I will permit it to pass over and through me. When it has gone past I will turn the inner eye to see its path.
When the fear has gone there will be nothing. Only I will remain.

    Thanks, Rossy2692. :D

I'd love to know what mini goals you choose for yourself. I'm aiming to choose a set a month, with the idea that anything I can do for a month should become ingrained as habit.

Well i shall start by walking 3 miles a day this month, at least 3 times a week :) NO fizzy drinks at all! I will drink at least 3 litres of water a day :)

Loved our trip to the West Coast USA. Death Valley is the place to go!
  • misspiggy87 well done. You may not have reduced your calorie intake but have taken positive steps by increasing your exercise.

Had a blip yesterday afternoon, think it was because I was stuck indoors with the awful weather and got bored. Will need to take steps to counteract this if it happens again !

    For today :

    B - weetbic & sk milk
L - leftover rice with corgette, pepper, onion, tinned sweetcorn
    D - pork steaks
either with mushrooms, carrots & pasta in garlic & herb sauce (made with light soft garlic & herb cheese thinned with some skimmed milk) or with mash (milk only) veg & gravy

exercise - its dry outside at the moment so I am just waiting for washing machine to finish so I can peg out on line then off for a walk about an hour

Have a good sunday everyone x

Really nice, very spicy but very flavoursome :)

The Masala chicken and cumin veggies were lovely last night as well.

    Morning all :)

Occasionally someone comes along who 'knows everything' - best thing to do is to ignore them. They'll soon get tired of making ridiculous remarks and go annoy somewhere else. (Especially when they can't type in English, of they may have had a bit too much to drink!). What we're doing is right for us, individually or as a group so keep on keeping on with the support we offer each other. Have a sunny day whatever the weather, back later with my meals :)

    Morning everyone :)

    Yesterday's food:

B - toasted English muffin, one rasher lean bacon, tea
L - packet of lookey likey French Fries (99 cals)
D - out for dinner following a cinema trip. Went to Wagamama and had chicken katsu curry - had about half the rice
    S - apple, banana

DH and the children had a krispy kreme doughnut after the meal - I resisted - and actually didn't fancy one at all - this is a first for me!

Not sure what we are having for lunch/dinner today, but breakfast was porridge, ss milk and tea.

Hope everyone has a good day. Keep safe and warm everyone :)

  • Great results! Thank you Dragon for doing all your hard work -and well done on your loss!!

Had on ok day yesterday, ate too much as half the spare enchilada went in my mouth rather than the freezer. No crisps or booze though and going to prepare some soup and frozen lunches later today.
