Am I the first?
-3 please Dragon(it's actually -3.6 but I know we only deal in whole numbers!)
I am pleased, but slightly frustrated that OH has lost 4lbs...he only has half a stone to lose so he is well on his way! Why do men lose weight so much more easily?! I always remember this happening when my mum and dad would go on diets together. Mind you, he had a head start as he has been going since the 2nd Jan and I only started properly on Monday this week. Never mind, it doesn't detract from my achievement
ETA - oops, LavenderBees beat me to it while I was posting

I am absolutely bloody gutted, I have been eating like a sparrow (1200 cal) no fat, chocolate or "bad" food has entered my body I have done 30 mins exercise everyday sometime 2 hours. Yet my weight lose is only 1lb. Being my first week I'd expect 3-4lb then a slow down from week 2 but no.
I really have gone hell for leather. I sat at uni eating a chicken salad (with no dressing) whilst my fellow students were having a full english.
I just don't know what do do.
But it IS a loss and that is a good thingDo not meddle in the affairs of Dragons, for thou art crunchy and good with catsup

I'm honestly in complete shock and really angry with myself and depressed all at the same time over the reading on the scale this morning. I'm exactly the same as I was last week, so a loss of 0 pounds for me. And here I thought I was doing well.
I feel like no matter how well I do with my eating and exercise, nothing changes.
I'm going to cut back even more on my calories, not eat carbs, and not eat gluten from here on out. Not like it will make a difference, but at least I'll feel like I'm doing something. I hate feeling like this. :wall:
Are you eating enough? I have a load to lose (like *cough* 11 stone *cough*) and if I undereat I either stay the same or even put weight on :eek:Do not meddle in the affairs of Dragons, for thou art crunchy and good with catsup

Well done to everyone who has lost or stayed the same, commiserations to did not achieve what they set out to. Is is only early days yet and I know it usually takes me a couple of weeks to really get into the swing of things.
Mrs VP is that 1lb for the challenge so far? (as you mention 4 lb as well)Do not meddle in the affairs of Dragons, for thou art crunchy and good with catsup

Hi all,

I am stones overweight so I am going to take it one stone at a time. I am mostly housebound so going for walks or that outside is really out of the question so I try and keep myself fit with my large garden. I also have a victorian house so it is some workout to keep it clean. I've also bought a wii so I got my hubby to drag the couch out of the livingroom to make room to use the wii.
I am hoping I am well enough to go to Milan in May so I really want to succeed this time.
I started watching what I eat since Monday, so I hope you will let me join.
Cheers
Of course you can officeguru, the more the merrier (again I just need to know how much you hope to lose by the end of March for this challenge round)

Well I am feeling very good about the whole weight loss thing
did a load of exercise this morning - some wii fit stuff which wasn't very good and a bit frustrating but then I did a 30 day shred workout and I pushed myself as hard as I possibly could. Am achey now, but felt great afterwards
I am loving having a larger calorie allowance at the weekend!before Christmas I was just working on 1400 cals every day and I think my downfall was that I would just sort of go off the diet for Friday, Saturday and Sunday. That is nearly half the week! now I have adjusted things on nutracheck so I am on 1200 Monday - Thursday and 1666 Friday, Saturday and Sunday. It just feels much better as I can have a bit of what I fancy at the weekend without blowing it all.
Today...
B - plain soya yogurt, raspberries
L - 2 fish fingers, peas and leeks
D - (will be) a third of OH's steak (100g), half a baked potato, peas, broccoli, green beans, and maybe caramelised onions if I can't resist. WINE! Am on my first glass nowhave enough calories to have about 5 or 6 glasses....but I won't!
