Friday's food
B - banana porridge, tea
L - 2 apples, cup a soup
S - dairy free chocolate mousse (oh it was SO GOOD)
D - 2 mini onion bhajis, hm veg curry, tiny bit of rice, 1 'healthy choices' mini naan, 2 glasses red wine
Came in at 1642 which is fine as my calories are adjusted to have 1200 Monday to Thursday and then it's 1666 on Fri, Sat and Sunwhich I think is going to work better than trying to stick to 1400 every day.
Well done on all the losses and STS0 -
Morning everyone!
Congratulations to everyone - never appreciated before just how hard this stuff is! Calorie counting, exercise and shedloads of willpower.... feel like it has been 3 weeks not one!
Happy to report that I have lost 2lbs
Quite pleased as I have calorie counted fanatically, managed to squeeze in two mini wii fit workouts (too much marking on this week do to any more, deadline is monday so be out of the way soon) and also time of the month.
Keep up the good work everyone! Thank you all for your support xxx0 -

B - F&F, sk milk
L - Toasted cheese & tomato sandwich, 2 slices WW Danish spread w/ff yogurt, rf cheese, sliced tomato. Fresh cream French slice
D - sweet potato wedges, dry-fried egg, garlic mushrooms
S - Clementine, melon, apple, grapes. Does anyone else have the same problem I do with grapes? I can't just have two or three, I have to keep going back for more!
E - the usual
Have a good weekend, hope the white stuff misses us all0 -
Would anyone mind if I changed my weigh in day to Saturdays? Just weighed and I think that yesterdays AM weight was either hormonal or water retention. Anyway, I'm back down to 283.5, which means I've actually lost 2.4 pounds this week. That makes me feel a bit better, and it means that I will definitely keep up with my upped water intake that I decided on yesterday.
I'll especially be drinking lots of water today, we are going out to a Chinese food buffet for lunch/dinner! On the days we go to the buffet, DH sleeps in (I rarely ever sleep past 8, but I slept until 9 this morning, yay!) until around 11, which means we don't worry with breakfast. It's also a mile walk to the place, and a mile walk back. Hoping to negate some of the calories that I eat by that walk, washing up once we are home (meant to do it yesterday, oops), and doing a bit more housework today.
We have a 3 mile walk planned for tomorrow to pick up a new to us vacuum cleaner that someone is giving us. The one we have doesn't even have a brush, and with bunnies and allergies, that ain't cutting it! We will be getting a taxi home, since it's a bit difficult to walk 3 miles back carrying/pushing/pulling an 18 kg vacuum cleaner....0 -
Went out this evening to celebrate my Mums birthday, horrified to find MFP has the calories in the 'smothered chicken' ( topped with cheese & bacon), I had for dinner at about 1300. I didn't have a starter or sweet and only drank diet coke, but it's made today go a bit pear shaped after my great loss this morning - wish I had thought more about cal count before ordering.
I completely blew my plan out of the water yesterday coming in at more than 2000 cals, way over my limit. But that was yesterday, what's done is done so I'm not going to beat myself up about it. We all slip from time to time, the trick is not to give in and move on :-)Old style weight loss challenge, start date 14/7/13, starting wt: 14 st 12, goal 12lb in 11 weeks:

Good Morning guys
Thanks for all your kind comments. I was so frustrated yesterday I do feel better today though. I went to uni and my friend said that's great really because it's half a bag of sugar. Which yes when I think about it is loads!!
So a 1lb loss is great and I am pleases it's in the right direction and it's not a gain.
Also some else quite remarkable happened although I only had a pound lose I had to tighten my belt to the next hole. Which I wouldn't have expected for at least a month.
So congrats to all the losersKeep it up all the STS
Next weeks goal is to drink more and keep positive
