This is the right attitude to have alipot. Remember there are 7 days in a week and you only slipped up for one of them. Onwards and upwards. x

What was the cassoulet like? We are loving the HD book. So far have made the granola and we had the poached egg with bacon and watercress this am. Tonight we are having the marsala coated chicken and cumin veggies and tomorrow the cod and prawn gratin.

For lunch I've had half a carton of New Covent Garden's Winter Broth which was gorgeous. Really warming after coming in from shopping out in the cold.

Really nice, very spicy but very flavoursome :)

The cassoulet is amazing :D it is my favourite thing from the book so far and I have made quite a few things. It just feels like you're getting so much food for so few calories and it is really tasty and feels 'naughty' yet is so low cal it's unreal :j

Are you eating enough? I have a load to lose (like *cough* 11 stone *cough*) and if I undereat I either stay the same or even put weight on

I am eating enough, although, until yesterday I've not been drinking enough water. That's been corrected now. I have 10 1/4 stone to still lose to reach my final goal weight.I calculated my tdee and bmr as well as my fat percentage yesterday. I've also updated my mfp to reflect those numbers. :)

Nearly 6 stone lost...I think that's amazing, the list of names doesn't seem long enough for us to have achieved that!

    What does tdee stand for?

  • Sorry I'm late posting but I wasn't too sure what my weight was anyway so will start from today. I am 11 st 4lb. so have 14 lbs to lose. My back is very painful and I have been referred to a specialist. I have always been about 10-10.5 st so this morning weighed a stone of stuff, bathroom baskets full of toiletries to see what it would be like carrying an extra stone...well it's REALLY heavy and killed my back when holding it, so maybe losing weight really will help. I can no longer do a sit-up due to bad back so need some new ideas for toning tummy if anyone has any ideas without putting pressure on my back?

    Today:
B: porridge, soya milk & lrg banana
L: Sandwich, cheese, pickled beetroot & low mayo (on white)
S: Pick n mix !!! really regretting this now but cant seem to resist it when in town with kids.
D: Baked cod with sauteed veg

  • Can I join in please? I have been lurking for a while but have been trying to lose weight and have reached a plateau despite using MFP and sticking to my calories (mostly). I think I probably need to do a bit more exercise but I am generally too exhausted/busy to do any. I would appreciate some motivation and think this thread might help.

I am a bridesmaid twice later this year and don't want to be the fat one! I'd like to lose 12lb in total and keep it off.

    Thanks
