  • Morning everyone

Major scales problems today with them changing every few seconds, eventually resting on anything from 15 3 to 13 3!! Thought I was about 13 7 but who knows, they were a bit dodgy when I weighed in for the first time on Monday.

Dragon - Can I record this as a STS ? I'm pretty sure I have lost a bit but will get some new scales today and start afresh.

Pretty good day yesterday, avoiding the booze, but stupidly succumbed to a packet of crisps helpfully brought to me by my OH. I hadn't even being thinking about crisps but ate them without thinking...

    Today
L Beans and 2 slices of toast with scraping of butter
D Probably roasted veg in a wrap with refried beans and a bit of cheese of top

Have a good weekend everyone :j

Stupid scales! Are they old fashioned ones, or do they have a battery? Maybe they just need a new battery?

Hurray 3lb off for me this week :j. I'm really pleased as I haven't calorie counted and feel I've eaten really well. I've cut out the rubbish and eaten sensible portions of home cooked food, done lots of walking with the kids and danced like a mad thing to wii dance in the evenings. I think because I'm more than 3 stone overweight I can get away with being a bit less strict - I'm sure it'll get harder when I get closer to my goal weight but really pleased I can do this a bit at a time, much easier to stick to that way.

I agree if they're battery fitted try changing the battery before you throw them out

I completely blew my plan out of the water yesterday coming in at more than 2000 cals, way over my limit. But that was yesterday, what's done is done so I'm not going to beat myself up about it. We all slip from time to time, the trick is not to give in and move on :-)

This is the right attitude to have alipot. Remember there are 7 days in a week and you only slipped up for one of them. Onwards and upwards. x

What was the cassoulet like? We are loving the HD book. So far have made the granola and we had the poached egg with bacon and watercress this am. Tonight we are having the marsala coated chicken and cumin veggies and tomorrow the cod and prawn gratin.

For lunch I've had half a carton of New Covent Garden's Winter Broth which was gorgeous. Really warming after coming in from shopping out in the cold.
Back for the No Buying Toiletries challenge. I pledge to only buy when I run out of a product that is not already in my stash no matter what wonderful emails land in in my Inbox or threads I read on MSE re: glitches!
