  • Oh no!! I've just been ambushed by an unexpected Christmas Dinner!:snow_laug

I had such a good plan for today too!

    b- porridge + fruit
l- planned = 4 ryvita & garlic cream cheese, lf yoghurt, banana
However, my Mum phoned me this morning and said she and my Dad were due to go to a lunch with their Tai Chi group but my Dad has a nasty cold and cough that has kept him up all night so he didn't feel like going out! The lunch was all paid for and would be wasted so would I like to go along and eat it!:T
So, what I ended up having was
l- tomato soup, turkey dinner, rum and raisin ice cream!

I have now taken the dog for a nice brisk walk around the village and promise I will eat nothing but a small lettuce leaf for the rest of the day!:A

    Hi everyone,

Well luckily(?) for me I don't have a Christmas 'do' to go to, however I haven't had the best of days food-wise:

    Brunch - toasted teacake
Lunch - MrT butternut squash soup, wm roll
Dinner - Beef mince pasta bake
    Snacks - egg custard tart
Exercise - cleaned two bathrooms, 1.5 hours ironing :o

Tomorrow I am meeting a friend at Bluewater, so not sure what food I will have, but will attempt to be good (honest ;)).

    Hi everyone,

Well my attempt at a 'good' food day was thwarted by my friend, who bought 2 fresh cream doughnuts for us to 'snack' on  This friend is a bit of a binge eater, so will probably starve herself for the rest of the day. I however will try damage limitation by eating sensibly.

    B - 2 x ww white toast, hedgerow jam
    L - butternut squash soup
D - ?? still deciding, but possibly pork casserole with mash and veg
    S - croissant in Co$ta, fresh cream/jam doughnut :o

    Have a great day everyone

    hello everyone

i'm really rubbish at this dieting malarky-i've lost 1lb overall. SO that's 1.5lbs per challenge ha ha at this rate it'll take 5 yrs to loose the weight!

Mince pies, choccys, pizza and wine have all been part of my meal plans these last few weeks. I don't think i like dieting. Although i have lost 2st overall its just the last 1.5st that is proving tricky.......

Anyway, good luck with your weigh ins everyone and have a great
xmas and i'll be back in jan raring to go!!
  • Good morning everyone.

Didn't have a chance to update meal plan yesterday. All went well bar a few Roses that flew out of the tin and into my mouth. Only 3 so not so bad.

Well I weighed in this morning and I have lost another1lb.

Absolutely chuffed and that makes a total of 10 lb....my target. :):):)

    Onwards and upwards
    Today

    Toast banana coffee
have visitors arriving so will have a mince pie :)
    Lunch sandwich and soup
Dinner ... I know not what as hubby out for meal at work today so will have something light this evening. Our lot all working or doing something so very little food needs to be cooked.

Thank you all for the support and motivation. Will enjoy Christmas but do not intend to over-indulge too much :)

Happy and Peaceful Christmas to you all.

...but if I will eat what I did yesterday what can I expect?

    B - F&F, sk milk
D - Goats cheese fritters, baked beetroot, apple & walnut salad. HM fruit crumble with vanilla foam.
    T - 1/2 tin beef & tomato soup, 2 crackers with cheese
S - Finger of carrot cake
E - (other than stressy Mway driving for hours) none :o

but it was my 'Christmas Day' with DM so I'm pretending it's alright

    Today will be
    B - F&F, sk milk
    L - Chicken salad wrap
D - Pork loin, broad beans, peas, leeks, gravy
    S - satsumas,pear, nana
    E - step/stretch/crunches. I'm beginning to look pregnant!

Have a good weigh day :)
  • Another STS here - but only just!

I don't want to spend the next week obsessing about what I eat but I really need to be aware I think or I will just end up where I started!

Oh well, onward and downward as they say.

Stay well, have a lovely Christmas and I look forward to joing you all again in January!
