Sorry I haven't posted in a while
We have had a very sick household and i've had my operation.
Needless to say I didn't keep up with the challenge and I am ashamed to say we had more takeaways than anything else in the last 2 weeks
I am still 4 pounds lost on my starting weight though :j
I am starting some new challenges with the first being health in the next week. Whilst I am fine with myself eating takeaways I am finding it very hard accepting that my daughter is eating poorly. Whilst I am off work and recovering I will be batch cooking some freezer meals and bulking things out with vegetables.
I am also allowed back to the gym in the new year and following some inspiring ladies at work I am starting the couch potato to 5k (nhs running tool)
My ultimate aim is to lose 3 stone and run 10k before my holiday in June.
Hope everyone else met their target ... I will try and catch up once a week from now on

Failing miserably atm. Damage limitation and looking forward to the next challenge.
Happy Christmas :xmastree:I must not fear. Fear is the mind-killer.
Fear is the little-death that brings total obliteration.
I will face my fear. I will permit it to pass over and through me. When it has gone past I will turn the inner eye to see its path.
When the fear has gone there will be nothing. Only I will remain.0 -
Well the plan for today is a longish bracing dog walk for some fresh air and to stretch the legs after yesterday's Shred (feeling it today) and maybe some proper exercise later - maybe a little run if the weather holds off.
I plan to have a 1200 cal day today to try to limit the damage of the huge chunk of raspberry pavlova scoffed last night (it was my birthday;)).
I think I'm hormonal too, the dates have got a bit messed up over the last month or two but I feel fat, bloated and "booby" so that may be a sign, or it may just be lard retention:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:0 -
Many happy returns of yesterday WW
, here's a no cal, no fat ecake for you :bdaycake:
Hope all is improving at home MaddyWaddy, pleased the surgery is behind you
B - spicy fruity porridge
not sure about the rest of the day as I'm meeting friends for a cuppa at lunchtime (maybe a digestive) then going to a children's Christmas party afterwards so will report back this evening.
Not going to shout it but it's not raining. At the moment!0 -

Everybody busy prepping for tomorrow? How nice to be able to sit with my feet up and not have to do a thing! I worked Christmases for more years than some of you have had them so I'm enjoying being lazy this time
Yesterday was as expected, children's party tea was beige.
Today's meals -
B spicy, fruity porridge
L - cheese & pickle roll
D - grilled pork ribs, carrots, broad beans, peas
S - pear, satsuma, melon, nana
E - cleaned kitchen, 15 mins in garden (til it got too cold)
Will look forward to reading the various menu's people have tomorrow, I think I can guess what the most popular meat will be!0 -
Hello everyone, :hello:
Sorry I've not been posting very regularly here - like many others, have given in to temptation too often in the last month.
Still, have also missed many treats to make up for indulgences, and am happy to say the end result yesterday was a weigh-in at 73.9kg - that is 0.1kg under target, so am well chuffed!
..Daresay all the good work will be undone over the next couple of weeks, so am looking forward to another challenge in the New Year.
Thanks for keeping score Dragon. I do hope that you and Mr Dragon, and everyone who's taken part in this thread are all having a wonderful Christmas holiday. :santa2:0
