    hi there
I am new to this board.

I really do need to lose weight. I have put on over a stone in the last year on top of the 2 stone I really needed to lose. I do nibble and eat too much so I have to be more conscious of what I am putting into my mouth. So I would like to keep track of what I eat.
    Breakfast
    Toast, flora light and banana
    Coffee skimmed milk

I use about a pint of skimmed a day for coffee.

Dragon could you please put me down for 5 lb target ... its a start
Need to increase the amount of water I drink. Will update later.
Will start reading all posts today. :)

Congrats on the tip theatregirl, nice one :). I remember Lorraine Chase as a very glamorous model earning £k's a week, it was she who first came up with the expression 'Lu'on airport' in a TV ad. Can't imagine her in a soap, but at least it's work :D

I think they killed her off in Emmerdale a while back.....no more soap slumming it for Lorraine:rotfl:

Had a good day so far - stuck well within maintaining cals and have quite a few leftover for later if needed.
Just a big dog walk to report on the exercise front.

Good news though - the eye and cold are both now better.

I think I need to change my target. I am never going to do it...especially as it's looking like this week might be a gain again! it was OH's birthday yesterday, so I made birthday cake...and we are going away for the weekend to a nice hotel. That will involve plenty of booze if not naughty food! There is a good gym though so I should use it...I should I should...

Argh! This is the WORST time of year to try and lose weight. There are still 4 weeks left after this week so technically if I really hammered it I could lose 8lbs. But all my weekends are full between now and Christmas and I can feel the loss just slipping away.

All it means is that I will have so much pressure in January to really do it properly. I am going to be a fat bride... :(

Ok, I will be good, I will be good, I will be good....starting NOW!

I've had another busy day and now have DGD staying for 2 nights whilst DS and DGD go to London. They are not going till tomorrow but are leaving really early so DGD is staying tonight too.

B: Apple and glass of milk
L: Cheesy vegetable bake - with mushrooms, butternut squash, onions, garlic, parsley and spinach.
D: Pork steak with mushrooms, grilled tomatoes and grilled potato skins. HM chocolate mousse.
Snack: 2 Cadbury's Fudges. 20g of dark chocolate.

Exercise: Walk home from work. I was supposed to be running this morning but it was too wet.
