Afternoon all
Stressed so much today - had to take bunny to the vets, and its a 40 minute drive there and back, with limited parking at the other end...and I'm a nervous driver even after 2 years on the road (due to previous bad experience with other drivers road rage/breaking down a number of times)!!! Made it through in one piece but was a bag of nerves for about 1/2 the journey time!
b- toast (l/o white bread in cupboard) with cheese.
s- 2 slices fruit loaf with spread
l- mini toad in hole with extra toad :rotfl: (2 mini aunt b's yorkshires, 3 sausages)
s- ww mini carrot cake slice
d- burger + l/o wedges from freezer, plus prepped salad. glass of wine or 2 (I need it!)
s- ww mini choc roll.
e- putting bins out later, sorting out freezer, cleaning/playing with bunnies, stress stress stress while driving!
happy thursday all.0 -
oh no your poor bunny ihope he's ok-i feel for you on the driving too- i hate it and rarely do it as it stresses me out so much.
I hope you dont mind me pointing out theatre girl (pls ignore if you like) but a lot of your food is convience food and pre-prepared. I'm wondering if you can make more stuff at home-it will have less sugars rubbish and fat in it and it will be cheaper too! Apologies if this has been highlighted before.0 -

Poor bunny is actually a very well bunny - he is 6 months old and for the last two months he has been an aggressive little furball, so he had the 'snip' last week, and hes turned into a really lovely little snugglefluff since.
yes, I am aware it's convenience food. I work nights - as my name suggests - and it takes me a hour+ to get home as I need two trains + 1 bus (parking near station is £12 for 5 hours+ which is horrendous when you consider my wages are per hour). As its usually around 11pm (sometimes later) I get home, I dont particularly fancy doing anything other than putting the microwave on.
I know it's not entirely clear but I do buy fresh veg every 2 weeks and prep it myself at home, I dont like the packaged salad as it wastes far too quickly. DM often cooks when I have a full day off (or on Saturdays so I have a hot meal for my return home) from scratch, so I dont see there is a huge need for concern here.
Oh, and I hate soup.0 -
dasiegg I tend to stick to my eating plan at home then when I go out I have whatever I feel like and enjoy it. The answer, for me, is not to feel guilty when I have a treat, meal out...or clotted cream, as I have at the moment, but that's just a one-off bought on my weekend in Devon, I wouldn't buy it locally
Today's meals -
B - spicy fruity porridge, sk milk
D - grilled ribs, jacket with rf spread/yogurt
S - fruit scone with raspberry jam, clotted cream
T - prawn salad & rf mayo wrap
S - grapes, satsuma, banana
Hope everyone is staying warm and dry!0 -
Afternoon all,
Theatre girl I agree about the pre packed salad, during the summer months we always have salad leaves in the garden. Saves us such a lot as I would happily eat salad every night.
Scales still showing the same this morning despite an excellent week of healthy eating and vastly increased exercise.
Oh well I do seem to have a good loss and then stay the same for a couple of weeks before it coming off again.
Managed a thirty minute run on the treadmill last night which I am so pleased with. I am really not a runner so this is such a big achievement for me.:D
Food wise today
B war buttons thins with marmalade
L I just fancied French toast but made with fry light so not too bad
D salad with fish
Snack Ww bar and fresh fruit.
Day off today from running as I have done five days in a row, need to let my legs recover.
Have a good day all xStarted Self Managed DMP 10th May 2017.

AFternoon folks
I agree. I never buy salad unless it is reducedduring winter etc ... we grow own during the good months.
So far today
Breakfast..... W/m bread toasted, flora lite and banana
Lunch.......... Baked potato, poached egg, small tin beans and tiny bit HP. sauce
Snack.....mince pie (only one left and I am buying no more), jaffa cake.
Dinner....will be spag bol
snack....later.... fruit.
Haven't drunk as much water as yesterday.
Feeling less bloated which is good.
All the best to everyone.0 -
Agreed on the salad, its nice to be able to grow your own.
The 2 bags of peas we have in the freezer outside are fresh ones, and the last of the pickings from my late Dad's allotment. It's weird these days having to buy potatoes, onions, strawberries...all things he used to provide for free. Mum is more of a green fingered person with plants rather than with growing veggies (and our back garden isnt that large tbh).0 -
Dont feel you have to justify your food Theatre- Girl. We all have different ways of losing weight xxI must not fear. Fear is the mind-killer.
Fear is the little-death that brings total obliteration.
I will face my fear. I will permit it to pass over and through me. When it has gone past I will turn the inner eye to see its path.
When the fear has gone there will be nothing. Only I will remain.0
