Rose Wood I feel your pain, I am losing the low carb battle at the moment, feeling tired and hormonal and just craving something carby. I was working at my friend's today, doing her accounts, she asked me if I wanted a cup of tea while working and I asked if she could make me a cup of hot chocolate. She did and I HOOVERED IT UP so gratefully! All the cells of my body were singing with the pleasure of that nice hot chocolate.

However I am now back over 80Kg so I am very frightened about losing the plot. I must find the place in myself where I get the decision to stick to a healthier way of eating, and do it.
Finally I'm an OAP and can travel free (in London at least!).
  • Not so good today either

    b - 2 sausage, 1 bacon, egg, mushrooms
    l - lamb shank, mash & peas
d - 1/3 of leftover chilli chicken biriani & veg curry
    snack - pack crisps

exercise - 4km/2.5 miles walk along the blustery seafront

Mum and dad are staying so we went out for lunch today, which was really yummy but hopefully burnt some off it off with the walking. Have got 1 & 1/2 hours yoga tomorrow so am hoping to burn off some more calories after stuffing my face this week

  • Another terrible day- must work on the stress-eating! I think there were crumpets, a croissant, they had chicken salad sandwiches at lunch today, a packet of crisps. I made a cursory effort of picking out a lower calorie curry sauce for dinner.

My only retribution today is that I felt full with about 8 mouthfuls left on the plate, and instead of eating them (like I always used to) I put the curry back in the pan and binned the rice. It's definitely an improvement! Sometimes there are days where there's just too much going on. Tomorrow is another bad day, but I will be working on the OH to make it a not-as-bad-as-usual weekend.
  • I am glad to hear it's not just me succumbing to the yummies, although mine isnt dreadful - I had a kitkat before work and then a extra ww bar after having my pasta meal when I got home from work.

only a extra 300-350 cals though and had a light lunch as posted earlier so that should make it up x

  • Weighing in today please Dragon! Somehow managed an STS this week, probably not deserved, but I'll take it!

Bad news this morning at the gym- they've announced their closing next month and new owners won't open until April. Must decide what to do - I joined to build up my running ability before I could take it to the streets, but I don't want to take it to the streets in Novemeber. It's cold in November. And I'm not fit to run in public yet- people will see!!!

Meal plan for my weekend is going to be acceptable- M&S (bad) dinner tonight, indian tomorrow (but will pick a non-creamy curry), then probably bolognese and chilli over the weekend. Lunches will be HM soup, but there will be a fight over breakfast as what I think is a good breakfast is not what the OH thinks is a good breakfast. Will compromise with toast I think.
  • Dr's today was mostly uneventful, although she did get me on the scales and I came up as 78kg (12st 4)!!! Which made me very happy - that would be a 2lb loss. :j However I will officially weigh in tomorrow and keep to one set of scales. :)

b- quarter piece of sausage and onion plait, soft boiled egg, half slice of brown bread (to mop up the egg).
l- small onion baguette filled with 1 triangle dairylea + 2 slices cooked pre-packed ham, s&v crisps, mini battenburg cake.
d- (after work) ww chicken casserole ready meal
s- bottle of water on the way to work, ww caramel wafer bar.

According to myfitnesspal, this is gives me some leeway to much a little tonight.
I promise that I will do my best.....
