Quick weigh in before ferrying kids to work - I have lost 3.5 lbs :j:j:j
I must not fear. Fear is the mind-killer.
Fear is the little-death that brings total obliteration.
I will face my fear. I will permit it to pass over and through me. When it has gone past I will turn the inner eye to see its path.
When the fear has gone there will be nothing. Only I will remain.
  • Morning all I weighed yesterday but never Goya chance to drop in here!

    Unbelievably I've lost 3lb!!!

It's the first time I've probably done a diet for a few years and I have been sticking too it, although I went a bit overboard yesterday after feeling great with my loss!

    Anyways well done everyone!

    Well done paintingrainbows!

I join you yet again because my weight is becoming a problem now. I do worry about my future because so far this year I have lost a stone and put that and more back on. If I carry on at that rate I'll be 20 stone by the time I'm 40.

So, I'm sat here with my cuppa and about to dig out myfitnesspal log in and get to grips with it all.

I'm as OS as they come by the way, my meals are hearty with the odd yorkshire or dumpling added in. I like to bake too.

    morning guys and gals
just been catching up from last nights posts, made a point of switching computer off last night and shared a super evening with my DS he's 16 and barely out of his "den" so was fine to watch a movie he chose and share a Ginormous h/m pizza ( fine to have a blast once in a while:D )
a few have said how little time we have for ourselves with all the running about and day to day "stuff" that fills our day
I too share that feeling and am determined to make more ME time as I feel like I am running in circles chasing my tail only to stand still half the time so am gonna re evaluate what I am doing with my time outside of work
( Cant use exessive housework thats filling l my time :D)
So I have woken feeling more motivated and plan to use my free time better..........wish me luck ha ha
have a super weekend whatever you are up to and hope your weigh ins are favourable

    B porridge
L h/m root veg soup h/m bread stix
D have oxtail casserole made in slow cooker yestraday smells lovely never had oxtail before , thought i would leave it a day to cool to see if there was fat to skim off it
E my running circuit ..its just short of 4 miles from my door , past a lovely distillery on route and old railway track

Totally understand. I am sitting staring at 27 GCSE essays, each of which will take at least half an hour to mark as they are practice essays and therefore need loads of annotation and comments to help them improve next time....I make that about 14 hours to do this weekend and that's before I've done any planning! Makes exercise slip very far down on the priorities list unfortunately.

I hope you feel a bit better and manage to have a rest this weekend, WelshWoofer.

Fell asleep on the sofa last night and had a little lie in this morning (normally up walking the dog at 6am) and feel loads better today - that may have had something to do with a glass of wine and some chocolate though:o

I have decided that today is a work free zone, I'm even leaving it in the boot of the car. The big batch of mock exam papers can wait until tomorrow as can the planning and report writing.

The dog and I are off on an organised walk this morning with a big group of walkers and doggy people - looking forward to it and the weather is ok so far.
I have a bit of renewed vigour today - I think sometimes you just need a day off the cal counting. Lets hope a bit of fresh air and being out and about will do us both good.

And just quickly, been looking at my diary and its just 10 weeks to Xmas:eek: I'm usually quite organised and have lists and plans sorted by now but nothing this year so far. I think we can say that the festivities begin a couple of weeks before so we have 8 weeks or so to become lithe, gorgeous sexy creatures:rotfl:
  • Sun is out today so I feel motivated to get back on track :D

    Plans for today:

B - bacon, scrambled egg, fried potatoes
(fat removed & grilled, egg scrambled in microwave no fat/butter & jacket potato in microwave then sliced and fried in 1 cal spray)

L - HM veg soup - am making a big batch

D - pasta bake (DS will have garlic bread but I will resist ;) )

Exercise - clean bathroom, clean kitchen, mop both floors. Hoover downstairs. About 4 loads of washing to do.... 2 loads are towels so hopefully will get dry on line. Tidy bedrooms (mum and dad coming to stay next week so need to make up spare bed) and maybe get out for a walk too.....

.....right I best get cracking :D

    morning all

popping on to post 2 day meal plan - even though my weekend is not hectic I wont have much time to post tomorrow morning. :)

    Saturday
    b- beans on toast (2 slices w/m)
l- cheese and crackerbread, *edit: no pickle or crisps, had bacon instead. lol
d- l/o hotpot from yesterdays dinner, plus 1 aunt bessie yorkshire (to use up)
s- slice of cake with tea, ww wafer bar

    Sunday
b- cheese or beans on toast (2 slices w/m)
l- will be going to frankie and bennys for lunch with my cousin and his wife - have a £5 voucher for the resto but no idea what to choose off the menu till I get there! :rotfl:
d- frozen pasta bake portion from freezer with extra bacon :)
s- dont know. depends how full I feel in the evening having eaten a massive meal in the daytime!

not planning much exercise this weekend - probably just get some more petfood when we go out today, bit of walking, otherwise housework. I actually havent had a full day in since before last Saturday so it will be nice to relax for a bit. :)

  • Righto, I'm going to aim for another week of good behavior before the OH comes to visit next weekend (inevitably meaning dinner out, cinema, wine).

    Plan for today:
    B: pre-gym nutri-grain bar, post gym apple
    L: toasted LF Cheese roll
D: old SW style pork stir-fry with noodles (got about 1tbsp sweet chilli sauce, tomato puree, lime juice and soy sauce)
S: bananas, will buy some more fruit in town

E: usual Sat morning zumba and 1 hr of free-style weights plus a walk into town later to the bank
