Hi all, hope everyone's ok. Sorry some of us seem to be having tiring/tough/painful(!) weeks.

I had a shockingly bad day today culminating in a meeting that left me in tears

Hi daisiegg- im abit behind as have been skim reading but wanted to say I hope things get better for you

I had a really bad time at work a couple of months ago (it was them not me- I have to keep telling myself this!) and although really nothing at work has changed my attitude has in as much as when someone is being unreasonable/nasty/generally an a**e i sing a tune in my head and think FYTP (Flip :rotfl:You to Pal)

It seems we are all short on time! Is it is worng that I find abit of comfort in the fact im not the only one? Anyway on the plus side since we are all soooooooo busy we should have less time to eat :rotfl::rotfl:

    Today:

    B: small bowl museli
    Brunch/Lunch: 1 sausage, 2 rasher bacon, 2 eggs scrambled, 2 toast, 1/4 tin beans
    S: ?? maybe some fruit

We are out tonight on OH works 'do' at the horse racing and have a 3 course meal- i promise to be as good as i can but I do intend to have a drink (or 27 :rotfl:)

WW- 10 weeks to become lithe, gorgeous sexy creatures :eek: think i need until xmas 2013 :rotfl:

I am also feeling more cheerful today after having a lovely lazy morning in bed (ooo err) with OH. Getting up now and going to look at wedding rings :D but far more exciting than that, is we just booked flights to California next summer :D Our last blow out holiday before getting down to baby making. Also saved £16000 on the flights! Mental.

Hope to be a bit more on track with the diet today. Had muesli and soya yogurt for breakfast which is a change as usually we have something naughty for weekend breakfast in bed. I even resisted a glass of orange juice as I know it's just empty wasted calories. Probably won't have any lunch and although it's curry tonight, it's a Hairy Dieters' recipe so not too bad at all :)

Hope everyone has a good weekend!

Haha, this reminds me of what I say behind the wheel of my car when traffic is slow moving for no reason; "come on, move you turkeys!"

My mum's road rage when she didn't want to swear in front of us kids used to be 'well poo hoo to you!' :rotfl:

As long as we don't stress eat! But I definitely agree, in a weird way it's nice to know I'm not the only one - everyone else I look at seems so cool, calm and collected (on the outside obviously). So much to do I can't even bring myself to start.

It's really depressing tbh, I pulled out lots of nice winter clothes I bought last January to slim into for this year. Not happening, think I lost 3lbs, so just 10 weeks left to lose the other 12 or 20 or so...
  • Oh I dont get road rage - lol far from it, in fact I was giggling madly behind the wheel today and all because of a black cat :) I wont go into what rude things me and my mum were coming up with to say! :rotfl:

    Afternoon All

I have decided to use the next 10 weeks to really give the low carb eating chance to work as I keep having lapses. So even if we get visitors I am not going to succumb to baking lots of goodies for them.

B: None as I had a nice long snuggle in bed with DH instead.
L: Omelette filled with mushrooms, pepper, onions, garlic and cheese. Raspberries with Greek yoghurt.
T: (Pack up to take to work) Prawn mayonnaise salad with HG leaves, cucumber, cherry tomatoes, beetroot and mixed seeds. HM chocolate mousse.

Exercise: An easy day today so just a walk earlier to the library and back and to work later - about 1.5 miles in total I should think.

  • What did I say about having an easy day? lol

Since we had some stuff removed from the garage that was taken to the charity shop the other day, we have been meaning to move the outside rabbit hutch into the space now in the garage.
While DM was on the phone earlier I took off the plastic we have covering it (so it doesnt get wet and dirty from the elements etc) and took that to store it, along with the bricks we have holding the plastic down (dont want the plastic flying through the Heathrow airspace after all)!
When I went out to begin this task it was lovely weather, few clouds, so I took my time - within about ten minutes the black clouds had come over and it started to rain....then increased.....so instead of walking calmly from back garden to garage I was running instead......!

Anyway run is now nicely stored away, just in time as it is tipping it down here...and I am hoping to have shed a few calories!! lol
  • Hello all

Just a quick pop in as I'm off to work in a while for my second nightshift.

My plan (all the wronf way round )
B: veg soup, hm beef goulash, lots of veg and 3 small new pots
L: chicken salad sandwich on one slice of toast
    D: friut smoothie (before bed)
    S: banana, yoghurt and fruit

Have managed 3 miles of dog walking today.

Here's another one who never has any time to myself, and I'm retired! I ran a residential home and always managed to be well dressed, I attended many meetings and had a good social life with dinner parties etc, now it seems I barely have time to paint my toe nails, there's always someone or something with demands on my time. On the other hand I'm grateful to be so much in demand so I'm not complaining :)

B - dry fried egg on plain Mr Wobbletons toast
L - pannini (last one thank goodness) with rf cheese and pickle
D - grilled ribs, half a jacket and salad
    S - plum, nectarine, satsuma, 1/2 nana
    E - 1 hour gym

For anyone who watches Strictly, wasn't Lisa Riley something else? Brilliant! Now Casualty then an early night, sleep tight :)
