    STS for me this week!

    That's a 1 1/2lb loss from the mid-week weigh-in so I'm actually quite happy with that!

Well *fanfair if you please* i have finally been swimming :j a whole 36 lengths in 35 mins which is really bad as i was doing 40 in 30 mins before my tooth ache/holiday/come back off hol cant be ar**dness

Does anyone else feel like they just dont have enough time to do everything they want?

Between work and college (which i wouldnt give up for anything as I love my course), homework from college, swimming, housework, trying to spend quality time with my OH and occasionally my friends I literally have no time to do a workout DVD or anything else :o

Hopefully in the long run all this will pay off and ill be able to get a new job with my new skills but just now i wish i could win some money so i could at least work just part time

thanks for the nice words to my weight loss.:j
Am just hoping not to put it back on, that is what I found so very hard.
    Is anyone else using myfitnesspal?
Is there somebody here who only eats a certain amount of calories, like 1200 per day?
Would love to swap some recipes maybe as I am having the same foods.
Thanks and congratulations to all the losses. :T

    Tell me about it!
I know exactly what you mean, no time and sometimes no motivation.
School, marking, more work, dog walking, cleaning, shopping....the list often feels endless. I must make more time for me and less for out of hours work. Feeling very tired and a bit run down - thats not like me so need a bit of me time and stress relief.
Hoping for a nice relaxing weekend.

Whatever is easier for you - thank you for being so considerate x
I must not fear. Fear is the mind-killer.
Fear is the little-death that brings total obliteration.
I will face my fear. I will permit it to pass over and through me. When it has gone past I will turn the inner eye to see its path.
When the fear has gone there will be nothing. Only I will remain.

I try to eat 1400 a day ('try' being the operative word!) and I use nutracheck to track it. :)

Good luck with keeping the weight off! So hard.

Totally understand. I am sitting staring at 27 GCSE essays, each of which will take at least half an hour to mark as they are practice essays and therefore need loads of annotation and comments to help them improve next time....I make that about 14 hours to do this weekend and that's before I've done any planning! Makes exercise slip very far down on the priorities list unfortunately.

I hope you feel a bit better and manage to have a rest this weekend, WelshWoofer.

@ savesummore - yes, me too.

I am currently working part time evenings (5-6 shifts a week) which is a hours commute there and back via train/bus - to drive it would be 2 hours+! On top of that, since my DDad passed end of August, I am currently in charge of all our bills and grocery spends, helping DM with the housework and our two pet bunnies as and when needed. Plus anything else that crops up - this included getting the heating fixed two weeks ago, also taking out home insurance and a couple of protection plans we didn't already have on our oven and boiler. Oh and three separate trips to the bank to sort out my late Dad's finances.
None of the above is a huge mess just very time consuming.

Fortunately things seem to be easing up now as the administration period has finally come to a close and most finances/bills have been dealt with/paid, but I never realised there would be so much blimming paperwork!!

@ej22 - I try and keep between 1400-1750 cals a day. Not very specific but I lost a lot of weight last year (9lbs, which returned with reinforcements three months ago!) using the freebie calculator on Bootsdiet.com.
  • Evening all,

Benn MIA for a while but with you all in spirit :-)

-1lb this week, woo hoo :-)

Hope you're all happy and healthy!
