    Evening All

A bit late posting for me tonight. It's my regular babysitting stint for DGD and I've been chatting on the phone for a while since DGD went to bed and then catching up on TV.

B: 2 boiled eggs chopped with salt, pepper and butter
L: Prawn mayonnaise with HG winter salad leaves, cucumber, cherry tomatoes, beetroot and mixed seeds. HM chocolate mousse
D: Chicken thigh with green beans and courgettes, red onion, mushroom and garlic in a cremefraiche and paprika sauce. Raspberries with Greek yoghurt.
Snack: Half a large bar of dark chocolate.

Exercise: 1 hour Pilates. Walk to work and back and to exercise class and back so about 3 miles in total.

    Good Morning x
Good Luck - I will update tomorrow as I was up in the night drinking tea.
I must not fear. Fear is the mind-killer.
Fear is the little-death that brings total obliteration.
I will face my fear. I will permit it to pass over and through me. When it has gone past I will turn the inner eye to see its path.
When the fear has gone there will be nothing. Only I will remain.

Oh no..I have to be first? :(

Well, the first three times I stepped on the scales it was STS. I would have been very happy with that as I know I haven't been too good this week. However for some reason I made the mistake of stepping on a fourth time, and thereafter it was +1 :(:(:( I stepped on about a million times more but it didn't budge.

So, I'm afraid it's +1 for me this week :( bringing me to only -1 in the challenge so far which is RUBBISH.

Time to pull my socks up and have as near a perfect week as possible next week!

    Good luck to everyone else...

Put them in the freezer!!!, then by the time they defrost you may have gone off the idea of eating anymore - hopefully - either that or you'll get toothache like the rest of us :rotfl:

I made them to take to SIL's tonight, I should have done it today then I would have had less time to eat them, but I had faith in my willpower :rotfl: hahaha none of that here!

WI 1lb loss (the other lb I had lost yesterday is back, blame the truffles). So I had truffles for breakfast :o ...

Got Doctors this morning hoping they will put my meds up on my say so rather than insisting on bloods but unlikely...

Happy to report a 1lb loss (benefit of getting a tooth out!!) All good when trying to keep a Dragon happy :D

Heading off into town soon as I want to get some wool for another knitting project – I find it helps to keep me away from the biscuit tin in the evenings. Also will try and pick up some material to make another roman blind for the kitchen, I saw a remnant the other day so going back armed with my measurements.

    Meals-wise today’s plan =
B – Mashed Banana on Toast
L – Guacamole, pitta bread, salad
D – Butternut squash & pineapple curry, rice or poppadum??
    Jan - June Grocery spends = £531.61
    July - Sept Grocery spends = £304.88
    Oct - Grocery spends = £ 31.01

    Morning all :)
Yet another STS for me please TD not brilliant but at least I'm holding my own. Last night at a neighbour's house I a had a bagel (had mentioned in the past I'd not had one for years), which was not like I remember at all. Ate half out of politeness which took me ages to chew my way through. My Jewish grandmother used to make them but the ones out of a plastic bag are heavy and stale-tasting, don't think I'll bother buying any :(. Does anyone make their own?

    B - F&F with 1/2 banana, sk milk
D - cauliflower cheese, pork fillet
T - grilled rf cheese on a pannini with pickle
S - satsuma, plum, grapes, melon
    E - 1 hour gym

    Have a sunny day :)

2 lb loss for me :j

Really pleased as had a wedding last weekend and a curry takeaway on the Sunday.

Been so busy this week so havent been on to record meals but breakfast has been oats every day, lunch baked potatoe (mccains ready in microwave in 5 mins) with a filling of either tuna or left over supper and suppers have been in my new smaller slow cooker (bought with my SWB amazon vouchers) :D

My exercise has upped though as with change of weather the horses now come in at night which means cleaning them out each morning and taking them up to their field in the day.

Just hoping I can keep it up without increasing food intake as I am always hungry in winter.

Happy Friday everyone and good luck with the WI.

3lb loss for me :j, first time I've been 11 something in over 4 years.

Planning an easy day today as start nightshifts tonight, hubsy is sorting the dog walking so apart from a trip into town for dog and cat food, I will have a rest day exercise wise.
Other computer has broke and is stating "insert recovery disk", I know we havn't thrown it out but as yet that extra safe place in which to store it has not been found.:( Must find it today, as have completed hubsies tax return and now cant access the thing.

    Today's plan
B: usual hf cereal and fruit
L: poached egg on one slice of toast with mushrooms and tomatoes
D: beef goulash with veg (no carbs)
S: smoothie, one oatcake with peanut butter

Not sure what to take to work later, will catch up tomorrow when i'm up out of bed.

Hope everyone has a good day.

  • I've STS ...which is disappointing as the scales were showing a loss yesterday. Although still better than the 3lb gain they were showing on Monday after the weekend's excesses.
