T - panini with rf cheese & sweet pickles
S - melon, grapes, satsuma
E - 1 hour gym
Today

T - panini with rf cheese, sweet pickles (the paninis were a present, need to get rid of them somehow!)
S - melon, nana, grapes, satsuma
E - 1 hour gym
Ran out of F&F so bought a box of cheapo bran flakes, poured them into the w/up bowl and added a packet of almonds, smashed up with the rolling pin, a pouring of raisins - would be a handful but I have small hands - a cup of porridge oats and a pack of crumbled rye ryvita which I bought but didn't like. Had a taste with a drop of milk and I've surprised myself, it's really good! Now have two packets of cereal and a very tidy cupboard.
*Forgot, I also added a dozen or so left over chopped, dried apricots
The sun's shining so am going to spend a while in the garden, avoiding webs. Is it just me or is there a glut of those horrid brown eight-legged garden s*****s about at the mo? :eek:0 -
Paintingrainbows it is hard but I think it is hard dieting or healthy eating anyway. I am just finding this week I have definitely got too much going on. I have definitely heard about the book and the program they did quite well losing the weight.
Tawny75 I hope you manage to behave during the week and it evens out for you.
Need2bthrifty hope the tooth removal wasn’t too bad, I have had the mince experience too :rotfl:
My day is as bad as yesterdays
B: 2 slices toast dipped in egg yolk
L: Sausage roll, chicken tikka, cucumber and tomatoes (The fridge at work wasn’t set high enough and my salad went bad … needless to say the tomato was soft too – hence the sausage roll!)Roast chicken and chips (DH cooking)
Snacks: Holds my head in shame Gregg’s cream donut – couldn’t resist whilst I was getting the sausage roll, 1 apple, 1 banana, 2 greek yoghurts.
My little girl isn’t good and we was up from 1:30 til 2:30 and woke up just after 5 … I find I eat loads more when awake from this time – I am considering having more smaller meals rather than 3 big ones which is clearing not working. I definitely don’t like salad either – it just doesn’t seem to fill me.
I am planning some batch cooking this weekend for dinners and emergency evening meals as we haven’t had anything in and it has turned into really bad health wise teas.
Hope everyone else is doing ok with the winter nights drawing in!SW member: 09/01/2014

Not too bad a day today - still within the cals and have enough for a snack later. Yesterday went ok too - had a sneaky weigh in and its looking ok so far for the official one on Friday.
Done a good hour long walk with the poocher tonight so got some exercise in addition to being on my feet all day at work.
Savesummore - I'm thinking of doing another swimming challenge as I'm being quite slack with exercise over the past few weeks, mainly due to work being bonkersly busy and being away at the weekend.
Its half term in two weeks time (2 more weeks to work after this one) so I'm thinking setting myself a target of 350 lengths by the end of the holiday.
Sounds good in theory0 -
Evening All
My sneaky weigh in didn't look very good at all - the result of treats whilst Mum was here I suspect. Not helped by today's meals either.
B: Raspberries with Greek yoghurt
L: Prawn mayonnaise with HG winter salad leaves, HG micro greens (an experiment for the windowsill), cherry tomatoes and cucumber. Piece of HM scone and butter.Egg with HM oven chips, mushrooms and onion. HM chocolate mousse.
Snack: Possibly half a bar of dark chocolate with my coffee.
Exercise: 5 mile run. 3 miles of walking.

Hi all, hope everyone's ok. Sorry some of us seem to be having tiring/tough/painful(!) weeks.
I had a shockingly bad day today culminating in a meeting that left me in tears. I have already eaten my dinner without OH as I was starving and knew that if I waited, I'd end up snacking. I had a quick step on the scales this morning and it's still the same as last Fridayneed to try and be good. Having friends round to dinner tomorrow and I've already estimated the cals and know it will be bad...
Tuesday
B - baked beans with dry fried mushrooms that needed using up, tea (330)
L - veg soup (152)
D - salmon in chilli and ginger sauce with new potatoes, broccoli, sweetcorn, mange touts and sprouts (571)
S - big bowl of raspberries (42)
Total cals for day - 1095
Wednesday
B - porridge with a little jam, tea (275)
L - banana, apple, soya yogurt (241)
D - Thai chicken curry and rice (659)
Total cals for day - 1207
That's if I manage not to eat anything else this evening, it's early yet! Could really do with some medicinal cake or something :rotfl:0 -

e- walking around shops etc today doing various bits and piecesThe sun's shining so am going to spend a while in the garden, avoiding webs. Is it just me or is there a glut of those horrid brown eight-legged garden s*****s about at the mo?
YES! We had two in the house the night before last, regular size and not too scary, but last night....oh my God. This enormous thing found it's way into the living room and I ran away from it...I have a extreme phobia of large ones and just....bleurgh, I feel sick typing about it!
DM caught it however under a cup and threw it out of the front door. Dont know what I'd have done without her here lol.0 -

I'm starting to think mid-way weigh ins are not a good idea! I was up 1 1/2lbs this morning (not my wiegh in Madam Dragon, your majesty! I will mainly be eating lettuce til Friday - in my dream!)
Today did not start well - no milk so no porridge! I was busy at work this morning so at least that stopped me snacking!
b- yoghurt and grapes. Poured out OJ - forgot to eat it!
l- omlette with bacon, onion and feta
d- some microwave thing from sainsbugs - Spinich & ricotta canneloni i think!
s- banana, blue rocky bar
e- 2 x doggy walking, joined in a new seated exercise with my 70 & 80 year olds at work!0 -
Hello all
Been MIA for the past week, had a long weekend away, which was fab but diet wasn't great. Been very good since Monday with diet and exercise, trying to follow a 2 week structured low fat, low carb plan. I felt that I needed a boost to the will power etc after a couple of not great weeks.
Todays plan
B: porridge and fruit
L: salad with chicken and small portion of cous cousbowl of veg soup, pork and ginger stirfry (no carbs)
S: smoothie, lf yoghurt and pineapple
Ex: 2 mile walk and 30min exercise dvd.Success is a journey, not a destination0
