Morning all
I couldn't calorie count over the weekend as I went away with OH to visit his daughter and we were eating out all the time. I think I was fairly ok though - I tried to make some sensible choices and we went for a nice long walk on Saturday. However I feel really tubby, I feel like I've gained weight somehow. Don't want to step on the scales until Friday though!
Will be back to strict calorie counting this week and trying get a bit of exercise in in the second half of the week as I'm starting to feel a bit better.
Good luck this week everyone!0 -
Morning all
Had a very productive day yesterday, a friend and I are going to Barcelona for a few days next week and we were poring over sights, sites and snack meals. Decided we won't do (too much) feasting, like me she goes to a gym and struggles with weight loss. The obvious answer is paella but neither of us have alcohol and seafood doesn't like me, so we'll just have to dig in on what we can
Today -
B - F&F, sk milk
D - korma with l/o salad from yesterday
T - Ainsley's mulligatawny soup, 2 crackerbread w/vegemite, rf cheese & pickle
S - melon, nana, grapes
E - 1 hour gym
re yogurt - like you ragz I never throw anything away unless it walks out of the fridge unaided. If it's lumpy stir it, if it's growing a culture scrape if off, if it's stale a few secs in the mw will freshen it up. Only for me of course, I'd never serve antique food to family/friends, but DGD2 wanted toast and jam last visit and the jam was a little furry on top. She just took a spoon and scraped it off without prompting! I brought her mother up to waste not, want not, it seems it's been passed down already
. Of course the real answer is not to buy so much, it horrifies me to see some trollies at the s/market check-outs. These are some of the people who add to the tonnes of food thrown away every week. I don't know whether to envy them for being able to spend money like water, or scorn them for having more money than sense!
Off my soap box, on to the gym. Have a sunny day0 -
Oh dear what have I started re: the yoghurtgate scandal!! :rotfl:
I guess it does mostly come down to how you've been brought up. My DM is very fussy about her food whereas my Dad really wasnt, so its a culmination of two peoples habits.
Anyhoo, today I am off to the cinema with the DM, taking her to see Taken 2and she has no clue, I'm keeping it a surprise, but I'm sure she'll cotton on by the time we get there lol.
Will post meal plan later as I havent had breakfast and will be eating out later. Will try to make some good choices though :A0 -
