In other news, had to throw out my yoghurts - 4 days out of date eeewwww.
Had hm pancakes sprinkled with lemon and sugar after the crackers and cheese thing for lunch - was tres nice. We had shandy too because we discovered a couple of cans left over in the fridge - we got a 6 pack of the Bavaria shandy from when I got the coupon in Tesco's a few weeks ago.
exercise wise today - helped DM out while she was in the bedroom cleaning it up - it's been neglected since circumstances changed here - did the dishes, put on and hung up 2 loads of washing, cleaned out a shelf in the cupboard and threw out some out of date medicines (!!!!!!? lol), cleaned up the bunnies hutches, and generally tidied up throughout the house.
Hopefully when my car is fixed at some point this week I can take advantage of some coupons I have stashed in the local Mr T's.0 -
Afternoon All
I'm snatching a few minutes whilst preparing the meal for later to post. Mum is busy with her crossword so I can neglect her for a bit. We are off to see the ballet Romeo and Juliet, later which should be great.
B: Small helping of luxury fruit muesli with extra raisins and seeds.
L: HM cheese scone with cherry tomatoes and pickled beetroot. Small bunch of grapes.Roasted gammon with roasted peppers, green beans and HG golden courgettes. I am doing roast potatoes and Yorkshire puddings for the rest of the family but will skip those. Raspberries and Greek yoghurt.
Snack: Thorntons Cappucino Bar (treat from Mum) with my coffee. Maybe an icecream later when we are out.
Exercise: Leisurely walk round the village with Mum - plus walking to and from ballet tonight - so just over 4 miles altogether.

Evening all!
Back from Wales and I must have burned about a billion cals yesterday - 7 solid hours of hard core cleaning of my late grans house that the tenants left in a complete state.
Mum insisted on having an indian takeaway for tea ( was starving so glad of it really!) but I did manage to limit myself to a side dish of chana masala (chick pea thingy) and about two thirds of a smallish garlic naan.
So far today I have stuck to the diet and am under the cal limit for the day with a little treat for watching Homeland later and have walked for about an hour with the dog around the water park to make the most of the good weather and to stretch our legs after a 4 hour car journey home.
Back on the straight and narrow this week - I will lose those 4 lbs (not all this week!)0 -

Today was not very healthy but I had the best day I have had in ages (took kids for walk on the beach, ended up having chips and cholocate and staying there for hours!) so I am not really bothered. I am still hopeful I can reign it in this week and lose thatby my name!
Going to make Peace, Love and Low Carb's Broccoli Cheddar Soup as that looks really satisfying and I happen to have all the ingredientsapart from the leeks, but a bit of extra onion should do. Also it's a slow cooker recipe and I haven't had the slow cooker out in ages so will be nice to see it again.

Really? I eat yogurts a month out of date (it is off milk after all!).
I refuse to eat yoghurt (or anything dairy based - with the exception of butter) that is a) past its best before date b) that is lumpy. I should probably have mentioned on last post that I opened the yoghurt to check it's consistency and it was, shall we say, not something I would willingly have put into my body. _pale_0 -

Rose Wood - Hope you and your mum enjoy the ballet. We went to a live cinema screening of Sleeping Beauty last year. It was amazing - almost just like being there without massive price and the journey into London!
Ragz, The beach sounds lovely. Took our pooch around the country park but I managed to resist the ice cream van! I was full of roast dinner though so really didn't need it!
Washing is nearly up to date so I think I am ready for Monday morning!
It was beautiful when I took the dog out for a walk. The grass was all wet - almost frosty - and where the sun was low and shining on the grass, there was a rainbow path across the field!!

Carbs, fats, sugars, calories etcetc etc is there a definitive guide that would help to understand what's good and what's not to eat. The more I look the more confused I am getting ;-(

Basically, if you eat more than you burn off, you gain weight.
Stick around, there are lots of people here who can help you
On another note, I've been very good over the weekend, apart from the apple pudding.2025 Fashion on the ration
