    Hi

Please could you put me down for 14lbs by Christmas :) I'd hoped to put up a weight yesterday but my scales have gone on the blink. I'm going to weigh myself at the gym instead and will try and post something up then.

Got you tink1981 and good luck :j

Hi all, well done everyone on the losses this week!!

I've been working flat out this week (mmmm, 10 hour shifts!!) so havent had a chance to write up my food diary, here's a quick version:

Friday: Did my food shop at the market, cooked a gammon, made my own calamari and had a great salad.. (also got my period that day, so hoping that accounted for the :( 1lb loss the last week!)

Sat:Baked a flapjack (aka, ate a flapjack haha, though it was a good attempt at a heallthy flapjack, 120 cals per piece and 2g of fibre) and had a mini party with a bottle of rum while doing it! whoops... extra points for drinking the rum without coke??...didn't think so..

Sun: Obligatory hangover eating fest, dominos pizza, and anything else I could see...oh dear :o

Mon:Back on form, fish salad and some homemade cuban stew

Tues: Ate out at Las Iguanas, the biggest half chicken I'v ever seen!! an empanada and extra beans (for the fibre, plus I  beans!)!!! but it was lush and I only had one beer which is an achievement for me. Followed by a reduced chocolate bar...

Weds:Back to ten hour shifts, it's so much easier to diet when I'm working! Tuna salad, porridge, and cuban stew w/pasta

Thurs: Two helpings of stew AGAIN! We don't have a freezer, but I just can''t get out the habit of bulk cooking!!!

Fri: low cal day, all bran and ryvitas, plus one of the last pieces of flapjack, gold star!!

I'm working tonight aswell, but hopefully I should be able to get to boots and get weighed sometime on Monday or Tuesday, and I'll let you know how I'm doing....not holding out too much hope after the start of the weeks mishaps....fingers crossed it's the right time of the month to have miraculously dropped a few lbs!!!
....I'd rather have two minutes of wonderful, than a lifetime of nothing special....

    Evening All

I've had a busy day entertaining Mum and am due to go off to work shortly. Mum treated DH and I to lunch out which was nice.

B: Very small banana and glass of milk.
L: Roasted vegetable omelette and another glass of milk.
D: Grilled aubergine topped with cheese and red onion and served with HG salad leaves, tomatoes, cucumber, beetroot and mixed seeds with a balsamic and parmesan dressing. HM chocolate mousse.

Exercise: Just walking round a local town visiting the charity shops.

  • Evening ladies!

Cold day here and my little one is miserable with the cold so spent a lot of time cuddling today (not a bad thing!). Managed housework so at least that was a little exercise!

    Today's eating has been:

Breakfast - shreddies with kara coconut milk and 2 slices of best of both toast and dairy free butter
Lunch - I made eggy bread and tomatoes for the little one, since she's not feeling great she didn't eat much and I ended up eating some! Then I had some sourdough toast with marmite and cucumber.
Dinner - hm lentil, tomato, carrot and spinach curry with basmati rice and mango chutney.

Now having a glass of white wine and an going to have a couple of hm hobnobs in front of X Factor.

It's so autumny (is that a word!!!), the curry really hit the spot for winters comfort food and so healthy plus it was packed full of garlic and spices to help the little ones cold!

Well done on all the losses, the list looks great!
