    Good Afternoon All

A 1lb loss this week - good way to start the challenge!

So far today has been ok eating-wise but am going to a friends and think fish & chips on the menu! There is group of about 8of us who all had children in the same 2 classes at junior school. Now all the children have been at senior school for at least 2 years and we are still meeting up every month of a chat and a drink and something to eat!:j:beer:

Neer mind! I have said I'll drive so I won't drink at all. Just need to pick up some soft drinks later and will make sure I watch the calories on those!:)

    Have a good evening all
  • Well done to all the losers some great losses this week :T better luck next week to those who STS (stayed the same) or put on.
I have STS this week which is not a surprise. THe only reason I've been good so far today is because I woke up with back pain and am having muscle spasms in my shoulder which is agony. I came home from work at lunch time and have just had a co-codamol induced sleep :

    Today

    B - bacon roll
    L - noodles
D - gammon, oven chips, tinned sweetcorn

Dont think I'll be up to much exercise for rest of day

Welcome to the thread and this wonderfully supportive group! Do you want to join the Christmas Challenge? If you do let me know how much you hope to lose by Christmas and then every Friday you let me know how many pounds you have lost (or *cough* gained *cough*) :D

  • erm...well its been an interesting week!

When i started the challenge i was 148lb. The next day i was 149lbs and today i am 150lbs. i def haven't put any weight on as i've been good this week and stuck to calories. So bit confused...

Anyway, i think i need to STS this week as i obviously started the challenge on a day when i was VERY dehydrated :D

    Thanks MrsD

I'm another with a STS this week which in itself is a minor miracle considering the hormone induced rubbish I've scoffed.
Hopefully it will be a kick up the bum and make me get back in gear this week.

The work Xmas do was announced today for Dec 14th so its a good incentive to lose those last few lbs and get a killer frock.
Need to do more exercise during the week - am just so tired after a long day at work and then dogwalking that its the most I can do to get up the stairs!

Have had a bag of crisps today but will count them in the cals and they shouldn't do any damage.
Better go and find something for tea...
  • Just had one of my newly bought WW chocolate biscuit bars from Mr A's, only 89 calories :) I think I've been converted!

    Evening All

I'm snatching a few minutes whilst Mum watches the TV.

    B: None - I forgot!!
    L: Poached egg on toast.
D: Smoked haddock, peas, carrots, sweetcorn, cheese sauce. Raspberries with Greek yoghurt
Snack: Maybe some dark chocolate later. I usually share a bar with DH so it might be just a third of a bar tonight if Mum wants some too.

Exercise: 1 hour stability ball class. Walks to and fro so about 3 miles maximum.

Sorry to say my first week of the new challenge has been a gain - up 3lbs.

Seems a little harsh I think, although the doctor has put me on another round of pills of some sort, which might be something. I've not been a shining example of diet this week, but not been awful either so think I'm going to make next week a detox week and strip it back to its bare essentials, see what I can achieve with a perfect week.
