I think I lost 1lb:jI must not fear. Fear is the mind-killer.
Fear is the little-death that brings total obliteration.
I will face my fear. I will permit it to pass over and through me. When it has gone past I will turn the inner eye to see its path.
When the fear has gone there will be nothing. Only I will remain.0 -

I have a 1lb loss to report this morning. I have a busy weekend ahead of me so may not get on as I have my Mum arriving for the weekend, having just said goodbye to DD. So it is a quick turnaround on the bedding etc.

Morning all
Discontented a bit this morning. No loss this week for the second week in a row.
I am nearly in tears actually - bit of a backstory coming here - after having phoned the doctors to make a non routine appointment for the week after next.
Still unable to understand why I am not losing anything after three weeks back in the country - I did so well last year, I was referred to a dietician by my GP for the same thing, being overweight. I managed to lose 9lbs when I was doing that, all on my own (because although she referred me to a local gym run by this guy - they never got in touch) with just cutting back on food, exercise like walking and stairs and stuff - I even have a pedometer which I sometimes use.
So I have booked an appointment because if I need to be re-referred I will ask to be - shameful really but there's that and one other thing.....it was brought to mind reading some of these other posts.
(tmi coming now)
I have not had a period in some months, I put this largely down to the fact I had problems earlier in the year when I had the contraceptive implant put in....it went in March, I had it taken out about 3-4 months later (before my birthday in July) because it was so horrible living with it - basically I had nothing for three months and then a three week period - and now its been another 3-4 months and no sign of anything being back to 'normal'.
Sorry to waffle on about my insecurities
meal plan for today
b- cereal with ss milk, pear
l- crackers/crackerbread with cheese and pickled onions
d- hm chips, peas, tinned corned beef
s- none. I feel like punishing myself so I'll just drink water if my tummy starts to rumble lol.
e- got to go to the bank and pick up a few bits in Mr A's this morning so walking + public transport.0 -

Morning all, may I join please?
I lost 3 stone last year and have managed to keep all but 5lb off, so I am geared up for another go. I am trying to do it the calorie counting way and have used a link given in the first thread to a calorie counter. My loss this week is -2lb, so I am really pleased.
My menu for today is
B- Multigrain hoops and milk
L- HM carrot and squash soup, french fries (crisps) and fruit salad
D - HM veggie spaghetti bolognese
S - Banana, apple, biscuits
E - Walking to town and back tonight.
Hope I did this right.........I promise that I will do my best.....0
