Daska - the 'Potatoes O'Brien were nice, not quite as nice as I had hoped, I probably could have cooked them another 5/10 minutes but they went well with the burger and made a nice change so I would do them again. Maybe a dash of cayenne or just a lot more garlic? I only managed to cook two portions in the pan even though it was a huge pan as I would never have got it all to brown otherwise, so the rest is uncooked in the fridge, will have it tonight.

Unfotunately the witch made made me eat junk yesterday so I might as well have just had chips and saved myself the hassle!

    Hello tink1981
Good Luck LittleMoog, so exciting you are on countdown to B day, when you join the next challenge you will be mummymoog.

We had a lovely meal last night and I didnt succumb to pudding, just one ferrero roche chocolate with my coffee. I had potato skins with a garlic dip and then chicken in a garlic, rosemary and cream sauce, somehow forgot to order any sides so pinched a couple of hubbies hand cut chips. I couldn't eat it all, the portions were so huge. Not the best of choices but it was a treat, with lovely company.

Todays plan is a little different too as we are going out for the day and I havn't meal planned for dinner as yet. So it will be another surprise.

    B: porridge and fruit
    L: ? sandwich
D: whatever I buy whilst out,(was thinking hm stirfry)
    S: none or fruit
Ex: lots of walking today and a dvd later

Hope everyone has a good day, sun is back here at mo, fingers crossed it stays.

    Morning Everyone

Feeling loads better today and my energy levels are back to normal. Unfortunately yesterdays best laid plans went awry, I had planned to get out and do a bit of gardening but the rain arrived and its still here.

Stuck pretty much to my meal plan however around 8.00pm I couldn't resist the really nice bar of chocolate I had bought to go in with a friends birthday present – I intended just eating a couple of squares but you know how it is and before I knew it the wrapper was getting scrunched up for the bin – so I need to go out shopping to get a replacement which will be wrapped straight away. HORMONES!!!!!!!! Who would have them.

Anyway with the best intentions I WILL get back on track today
B – Toast, spreading cheese, cucumber
    L – Leek & Potato Soup
D – Roast chicken, broccoli, green beans.

Might have been a bit naughty at the cinema last night - popped into waitrose before the film with my friend and we ended up on the chocolate aisle - brought a bag of chocolate brazil nuts and a bottle of water for during the movie. damn they were nice! :D

Unfortunately the scale knew about it because when I stepped on for a cheeky pre weigh this morning they had gone up by 1lb :( I dont hold out much hope for Friday's WI at this rate.

    meal plan for today then:
b- 2 boiled eggs (just eaten). 1/4 bag wispa pieces [360 total]
l- dont know as yet. Really have to use up whats in the fridge and cupboards this week.
s- sunbites cheese and chive crisps, bottle of water [120]
d- HM hotpot, DM will make it while I'm at work tonight so I can pop a batch in the microwave for a couple of minutes when I get in :)

exercise will be the same as usual today - public transport, walking to and from work (about five mins brisk each way), stairs at work. also have to get up the post office this morning and since my car has a flat tyre *grumble* I will have to walk it - fifteen minutes brisk there and back, provided it doesnt rain.

    L: Chicken sandwich. Small banana.
D: Grilled aubergine topped with caramelized red onion and cheese served with a big salad and red pepper balsamic dressing.
    Snack: Piece of HM flapjack.

Exercise: 1 hour Pilates. 1 hour of tennis with DD and DS.

I will post todays menus later as not sure yet. We are just about to all go out for lunch which will be lovely.

Oh dear oh dear oh dear, I am having a bad week :(

I never quite recovered from my terrible weekend and have been over calories every day so far this week :( today is the worst....I just had cake and custard as a mid afternoon snack!!! Worst thing is it didn't make me feel better and was totally not worth the calories in the end :(

In my defence, I am feeling absolutely dreadful. I suffer from terrible periods, but I only have one three times a year, so I figure even if I gain a couple of lbs (I think I have :( ) it won't be disastrous?! My challenge is 14 lbs so technically even if I gain a couple and then need to lose, say, 16 or 17 to make the challenge, I could still do that in 11 weeks?!

I feel gutted :( in so much pain that I can barely stand up straight let alone exercise, and I'm ravenous and bloated and (sorry TMI coming...) haven't been 'number two' since Saturday! (side effect of the stupid stupid women's problems)

I am still going to try to be as good as possible but already anticipating a gain. I think I am beyond even hoping for a STS :( terrible way to start my first challenge!!!
