    Morning all :)

Another STS week please ragz :), will have to think about what my next challenge target will be because I'm not getting anywhere now, diet and exercise on a par with each other and am quite happy in fact where I am. Now if you could just arrange a 'lose that belly' challenge I'd go at it like a bull at a gate! Doing all cardio and weight work at gym, pt has suggested mat work but I think I'd have to go off long term sick if he pushed it, I see those guys that huff, puff and groan their way through their routines!!! At least I'm happier with myself than I was 3 stone ago

    B - F&F, sk milk
L - salad/rf cheese in chapati pieces - last one so fingers crossed for better success with the next batch. They're much nicer than shop bought though. SF lime jelly
D - breast of chicken, roasted onion, parsnip, courgette, pepper. Steamed hg runners.
    S - nectarine, kiwi, apple
    E - 1 hour gym

    Happy Friday :)
  • STS here please Ragz - quite happy with this as I have had stress a-go-go!

Morning everyone. I was 11,11 this morning, so still 1lb heavier than at the start of the challenge but 1lb loss from last week I think (not been back to check yet)

Breakfast - 2 boiled eggs, 3 rashers of bacon (most of the fat removed) and a portion of baked beans (for the fibre, not been getting enough of that, anyone else watch Food Hospital the other day?)

Chicken soup later, not sure what for dinner as others are having fish and chips (freezer) and that's not low carb at all! Maybe just have more chicken soup...

Good luck all for WI, I am off to take DD swimming for the first time (she's 2 and a half!), wish me luck!

  • Hello Again

Lovely shiney new lap top means I have to remember all my log-ins for the sites that usually log-in automatically!

Eventually worked it out so that's another site security conquered!!:j

1lb gain this week! Not very happy but the cold I think i have been brewing all week has finally broken so maybe I'll be better at resisting the biscuit tin!

I also need to break the habit of thinking that once I have weighed in on Friday, that's it, the weekend starts here and I do not need to be mindful about what I eat again until Monday morning!!!;)

That usually translates as me eating bread and cakes and chocolate and sweets all weekend which really just leaves me 4 days to repair all the damage by Friday - not going to happen!

So, not this weekend! I might relax the rules a little but I am still going to keep my wits about me!

    Today, had and planned
    b- porridge and apple sace
l- baggette roll with thin cut chicken and salad, lf greek youghurt
    d- spag bol -
    s - ?

e - dog walking as usual
  • Hi all

I forgot to WI this morning due to being in a blurr of no sleep and toothache :o probably wouldnt have been good news anyway

Ragz- I watched that Food Hospital- I love programmes like that

    Today:

B: Museli, greek yog, couple blueberries
S: handful grapes, banana- it was huge :p;)
L: Lo bean chilli 2 x wraps, Melon selection
S: hmmm not sure yet have got some nuts but they will prob hurt my tooth and also i have some of those choc olympic mascotes things hmmmmmmmmmm should be good and not eat the chocolate really
T: HM chicken curry and rice

Im getting fed up of not doing any exercise but think id be silly to risk it whilst mouth/tooth is so bad

I cant remember who was saying about being really thirsty whilst taking antibiotics but I am too!!!

  • Shimmies into the room......... One and a half stone lighter!:j:j:j Yes I've managed it - 21lbs off. I'm so pleased! The sneaky mid week weigh in was correct and today's was exactly the same so its official!:T So 2 more lbs off
I now look like I've lost weight too - much thinner hips, thighs (with improved cellulite, not gone altogether though) and waist. You can also see it in my arms (no bingo wings now) and face.

Now all I have to do is decide whether to lose a little bit more or to try to maintain this weight. I've gone from 11 st 5 to 9 st 12. I have a mid range healthy BMI and feel sooo much better about myself. I'm toying with trying to get to 9 and a half stone - a weight I haven't been since school! I'm now 40:rotfl:

Whatever happens, I'm having an evening off diets and exercise to celebrate, have already had a wodge of bombay mix!

Does anyone mind if a newbie joins the thread? I came back from holiday two weeks ago having put on 7lb, have lost 3lbs of it when I weighed myself last week....but havent dared go near the scales since.

Would love to lose 11lbs in total, the 4lb I have put on plus another half stone....that would be a dream come true/miracle (delete as applicable :rotfl:)
