No idea how much my calorie total was for yesterday, probably well over 1500 so I will have to check later.

Just got in from car booting, had 2 cups of sugary tea and a bacon roll for breakfast, about to have a early lunch: leftover steak and kidney pie warmed in the microwave, a few roast spuds and leftover salad.

Will probably have cheese salad (to use up the remaining salad) for dinner with a glass of wine. :)

exercise today was lugging boxes, a little walking, and some stress from driving. lol.

edit: after nap (since I was up at 6am) I had a handful of thai sweet chili crisps, a small block of cheese, and 6 chocolate coins.

Welcome Deleted_User and 41 and i know it

    Good Luck financially_gaga

WW, I'd love to be that weight again, (goes off into a daydream), currently aiming for 10 1/2, will continue plodding on and see how I feel when I get there.

Lovely sunny day again today here, but a little cold. Just back from a 3 mile walk, was hoping to go further but shammy dog had to be dragged most of the way, if he went any slower he'd stop.:rotfl:We did a longish walk yesterday (6 miles) and there was no way he was agreeing to it again today. Will see how far we walk later.

Swapped a few meals around on the meal planner yesterday, so will be eating yesterdays post today and todays post was yesterdays.

    B: usual cereal and fruit
L: last of l/o hm broth
D: small piece of hm quiche, salad and 12 oven chips
    S: hobnob medley bar, banana
Ex: busy day today so just the dog walking (5 miles)

Off to put the bread maker on as coffee break over. Hope everyone has a good day.
Success is a journey, not a destination
  • Off to the race for life...that should shift at least 1/4 of a pound hehehe. Target is 30 mins. 2010 was 56 mins, 2011 was 42 mins so real push for 2012!

Need to catch up with the board so talk later!

    Good luck with the run!

Just done a 1 mile swim and done a dog walk this morning so a good few cals burned so far today. I'm going to take the dog for another 45 mins round the water park after lunch before the monsoon arrives. I need to do quite a bit of exercise today as on top of my cal allowance I ate a big bag of crisps yesterday :o
The celebrations of reaching my goal are now OVER! I will get back to it and lose those extra 5 lbs or so - so there!

Not sure what's for tea today yet, maybe quorn shepherd's pie as I can make a couple and have one for tea tomorrow too after a long day at work. Definitely very autumnal today - comfort food is in order!
  • I'm just waiting for the monsoon to pass before i take my Poochy Paws out for a walk!

HAd a bit of a lay in this morning so I didn't do his walk then either so not doing well so far today!

Went out with Mr Sezza this morning to investigate a potential new adventure. I am not meant to know anything about this yet so can't tell anyone in my "real" life but if I don't mention it to someone my brain will burst!

A boss he has worked with for years is selling up his shares and leaing the company and, once the dust is settled, wants Mr Sezza to leave too so theywill go into business together. They are looking at taking over a cafe but just need to find the right thing! Just missed out on a perfect chance and think the one we looked at today won't be right so keep looking I suppose!

Not sure how good a cafe in the family would be for the hips though!!:rotfl:

    Today
    b - cereal, OJ
l- roast dinner with lots of veg, some pork and not too many potatoes - may have sneaked too many garlic yourkies though!
d- not sure yet - ryvitas maybe?
s- half pack shortbread bics - gotta check out the competition!:T
  • dear lord - I just roughly calculated (given that most of the stuff I have is homemade) what I ate yesterday and it came to over 2200 calories.
However that doesnt account for exercise etc. So maybe I'll be ok, it was day one after all.

Today been slightly better, totted up what I wrote in previous post and comes to just over 1600 cals so happy with that. :)

    Hi everyone,

Please can I join in? I have been calorie counting for the last few weeks and had lost 6lbs as at Friday morning and then I managed to talk DH into having a curry take away on Friday night. This morning the dreaded scales show I have gained 1.5lbs

I have Crohns Disease which means that I am unable to eat much fibre, fruit or veg so dieting is a bit of a nightmare, but I am getting there. On January 1st I was my heaviest ever – 12st 10lbs and Friday morning I weighed 12st exactly.

I am trying hard to fit in a little exercise most days, even if it is just a 20 minute walk with DH after tea in the evenings. I did, however, do Step 1 of Jillian Michael’s 30 Day Shred, couldn’t keep up at all, and have had trouble walking/holding up my arms since

So my goal this week is to stick to my calorie limit and attempt Jillian’s Shred again (once the pain has stopped :rotfl:).

  • Afternoon All

I've not posted for a few days as I've been really tired. I've been eating really badly and don't know if the feeling exhausted is the cause or the result! Anyhow, I slept 11 hours Friday night, went back to bed for a couple of hours Sat afternoon and spent all morning in bed today - mainly reading. I then had a leisurely bath and am feeling more like my old self. I did a bit of ironing in front of some recorded programmes and turned up 2 wrap dresses I bought from a charity shop to knee length. They are both spotty - one black and one blue - to wear with thick tights and flat shoes for work. DH is away till tonight but DS and DDiL are coming round for their regular Sunday meal shortly.

B: 2 boiled eggs mashed with salt, pepper and butter
L: Half a grilled avocado topped with cheese served with salad - HG leaves, cucumber, mushroom, cherry tomatoes, mixed seeds, beetroot and sweet red pepper balsamic dressing.
D: Pork steak with a creamy mushroom sauce, roast butternut squash, HG green beans, peas and sweetcorn. HM chocolate mousse
Snack: 2 handfuls of cashew nuts, half a bar of dark chocolate (20g) piece of Brie.

Exercise: None as I decided after the way I was feeling my body needed a good rest.

I'm still suffering with toothache whenever I eat anything hot or cold so am going to call the dentist and see if they can move my appointment at the end of October a bit closer.
