Morning all
41 what is it about built-in alarms? I always set mine for 7am, today I didn't have to and I woke up at 6.45am
B - spicy, fruity porridge
D - chicken with roasted roots, cheese sauce made with water - surprisingly it's just as nice as when it's made with milk, or I'm getting used to less of everything!
T - salad with rtc sliced beef bought in Mr A yesterday. SF lime jelly
S - kiwi, pear, grapes, nana
E - gardening/housework, all very much needed so throwing myself into it today.....
....so coffee break over, back to the grindstone. Have a sunny day whatever the weather0 -
Welshwoofer well done on the fantastic weight loss - I'm utterly in awe of you! I'd lose a bit more if you're between dress sizes atm, otherwise, stick where you are!
I sympathise with you and Skint, I think there's something in the air this week, I've not slept at all well, hence why I've been AWOL for a few days. But I've not eaten too bad, even though I'd normally stuff my face just for the energy.
I have a stubborn 3lbs of water weight still sticking around - possibly because I've not slept much. Don't have a meal plan for the coming week yet, I have to run the cupboards down before going home home next weekend. I will try to stay away from the bridies and lorne sausage when I'm there though!
Well done to everyone on the weight losses this week :T0 -
Further to meal plan above - had cheese salad rolls x 2 with a bottle of water for lunch, and a handful of pringles (those things are dangerous!) so wasnt doing too bad.
Then ate a chocolate doughnut. Whoops. :rotfl:0 -

I have finally decided what to do about my weight now (after a day off diets :rotfl:).
I'm going to try to lose another 5 or so lbs to get to 9 and a half stone.
I've just been for a nice 45 min walk in the sunshine with the woofer around a nature reserve but did scoff half a flapjack as I was walking so probably negated the good I was doing:o
Also cleaned the car and te house so hopefully thats a few more cals gone.
I need to think about something lower cal for tea, been shopping so there's really no excuse for eating takeaways.0 -
Definitely exercised today - was on and off buses/tubes for about 4 hours when out earlier, and just now cleaned out the rabbit hutches (we have two little fluffy chubby bunnies) and packed the car ready for the car boot tomorrow.
If nothing else I've built up my arm muscles lmao.0 -
41 I agree, HB's book is excellent - their leek lasagne is delish, my friends didn't know the difference. Fortunately I don't have to look at labels or weigh everything now (been doing this so long!), and always eat my meals from a small plate - when I'm at home of course, not in public!
Discovered today that roasted beetroot with cheese sauce is to die for , definitely one to repeat0 -
Off to the race for life...that should shift at least 1/4 of a pound hehehe. Target is 30 mins. 2010 was 56 mins, 2011 was 42 mins so real push for 2012!
Need to catch up with the board so talk later!0 -
Ooh I love the Hairy Bikers' diet book too! All the recipes look to die for. I have only made the cassoulet so far and it was amazing - couldn't believe it was so few cals.
Yesterday went slightly off track....I had no breakfast, some veg soup for lunch (100 cals) and then my sister came round and I had hm pizza which honestly was about 1000 cals (well, I overestimated all the weights when I was working out the cals on purpose to be on the safe side - but it was still a lot!) but then half way through the evening my sister (who is THIN!) demanded pie, so I made her a cherry pie. I had one small piece myself, and she took the rest home so I wasn't tempted. Not sure how many cals in a small piece of cherry pie but it did probably take me over my 1400 limitand I didn't do any exercise.
So today it's three healthy (small) meals and I must fit in EXERCISE! Can't let one bad day turn into a bad weekend. As others have said, sometimes I start being bad on Friday evening and only stop on Monday morning, and if three days of the week are 'bad' that's nearly half the week!
Haven't weighed today because I'm scared to see the damage from yesterday....shouldn't be weighing myself every day anyway.
Good luck today everyone had have a good Sunday!0
