  • Good Evening

Brr it's been miserable today! Got soaked and freezing when I took the dog out at lunch time so I feel quite justified in putting the heating on!!!

b - porridge with spiced apple
l - ryvitas and philly cheese, lf greek yog, small slice chocolate roll cake
d- pasta with hairy biker style "cheese" sauce
    s- banana, choc bic

e- walked the dog twice, jazzercise tonight

    Roll on the summer!
  • Yuk - this cold and rain has just got me wanting comfort food! I haven't succumbed too badly though:
    B: Toast and jam
L: ham salad sandwich, apply, clementine, plum
D: HM Chicken Tikka (with LF yoghurt), small portion of rice and a very small naan bread

All pretty good until I just ate about 350 calories worth of bruchetta :o

Did 45 mins at the gym (upped my running to 1 min bursts today :T)

On the plus side, I'm at my pre-holiday and antibiotics weight again, so can breathe more easily again!
  • So I took a nap so I didnt have my fruit snack and also completely forgot about the sweetcorn with dinner lol. think that probably saved me a few cals so not too worried even though I should be upping my fruit/veg intake!!

Started well this morning, ok lunch and then it all went pear-shaped when, in the middle of the afternoon, I had a big blood sugar dip while in the middle of the street, so I stopped at the only shop ther was nearby, a newsagents and bought two packets of Sesame Snaps (at least it was not a Mars bar!).

Then too tired to cook, DH tired too so we had Indian takeaway, and I ate the rice, too.

I must pick a day and start a serious low carb fortnight, it is the only way for me to lose and maintain the loss without ever feeling hungry or having blood sugar issues!
Finally I'm an OAP and can travel free (in London at least!).

    Morning all,

I had a fairly good day yesterday, although I felt very tired. Need to man up as I am getting plenty of sleep. Yesterday went as follows:

    B - Tea, cornflakes
    S - Coffee
L - Wholemeal roll with turkey & cucumber, WW lemon slice
D - HM pasta bolognese bake, tea
    E - 55 min walk with DH

I couldn't buy 50/50 rolls at Mr T last weekend so bought wholemeal instead, hoping that they wouldn't upset my Crohns too much, but I woke up during the night with tummy ache. May be the rolls, but also I ate quite a bit of fibre (for me) yesterday so I will just have to take it carefully today.

I weighed myself this morning (against DH advice - oooh get me!) and I have broken the 12 stone barrier - I weigh 11st 13.5lbs and I am ecstatic. I haven't had a weight that started with 11 stone in ages :j

    Have a good day all.

Tjp70 many congratulations about breaking the 12 st. mark and go into the 11s! It is such a great feeling! Can I pinch you for good luck please?

Today is definitely the start of my new (old) way of eating, which I have neglected for a while, so here goes again, my plan for today:

B: Fried egg, vege hot dog, 1/2 tomato, chopped mushrooms, vitamins, decaf teat
L: Grilled Halloumi cheese salad, nuts
D: Vegetable soup, vege burger, cooked greens
S: celery sticks with peanut butter
E: walk to shops, walk to school pick up and to kids' home (work), if time permit enrol to gym (walk there)

Wish me luck, I really need to get back into a regular pattern of refusing foods that do not agree with me. Need to do 2 strict weeks from today, to wean myself off sugar again, then I can relax a bit and reintroduce pulses and whole grains. But planning to stay off wine completely because it seems to affect my health quite badly, even a small glass.
Finally I'm an OAP and can travel free (in London at least!).

nothing to report this morning - although I did weigh myself and no losses, but no gains either. so I'll keep plodding along.

b: half a bowl of cereal (it got mushy because I had to call the boiler service peoples). will have the last brioche piece to compensate lol. [215]
l: going to costa's before going to the cinema this afternoon, so will probably have tea and a panini and then a diet fizzy drink plus some sweets in the cinema. [388 + 300]
d: 2 rashers bacon, 2 frozen sausages, hm chips, and a grilled tomato. [500]
    s: pom bear crisps [97]

[edit: so far 1500 i think]
