Back at work and had a few naughty jammy dodgers:mad: Have counted them in the cals though so not a total disaster.
Just back from the second after work dog walk - the first was a stroll around the park letting him sniff around and the second a very brisk 30 mins - it looked like rain so we whizzed round the streets accompanied by the Stone Roses on the ipod - have gone all Manc and Ian Brown like now!
Had the second half of my quorn spag bol for tea - only had to boil up the pasta and microwave the bol bit, so very quick and easy.
Will try to force myself to go swimming tomorrow after work - always enjoy it once I'm there but after a long day at work it takes a massive effort to go.0 -
The chapati's looked good when I made them, portioned them, rolled them, dry fried them...then fell into a dozen pieces when I tried to turn one into a wrap. But if you spread them with a little ff yogurt, Vegemite and slice of tomato they make very dainty, if rather obscurely shaped canapes :rotfl:. Either made them too dry or they were overcooked but will persevere
Have a good evening
:T:T Keep trying they are worth it in the end

sparrer try adding a little less water next time? Or did you maybe roll them a bit too thin? My first batch I added far too much water and had more of a cake mix than a dough mix... 2nd batch turned out fine though.
Did the maths and it's 14 weeks to christmas now. At a healthy weight loss rate of 1lb/week, 14 weeks = 14lbs? I think this could be a good challenge if anyone else is interested?
I'm definitely thinking I would like to aim for about 13 lbs for my work do in 12.5 weeks (going from my pre-holiday weight +2lbs, as still carrying lots of water weight that WILL disappear!)0 -

Hello all
I'm on holiday (from work) this week, so should be motivated and healthy, but struggling a bit, seems I have a good week then a not so good one. Will just have to get my act together and try harder for the next few days.
minicooper, I'm happy to join you on your 14lbs in 14 weeks challenge, would love to say I'm 10 stone something for Christmas, even if it's only 1/2 lb under 11 stone. Will just accomodate it into my totals for this and the next challenge.
Today's plan:
B: usual cereal and toast
S: (after 4 mile walk, was starving) 2 slices of toast with scrape of marg
L: dry fried l/o veg and potato with tomatoes, yoghurthm spaghetti bolognese, strawberries
Will do another walk with shammy dog later, have been stuck in today, man just been to service the boiler, so going off to do 30 min work out dvd. Didn't dare try before, would have terrified the poor man.
Hope everyone is having a good day.Success is a journey, not a destination0 -

That sounds like a good idea - a new challenge to aim for.
I'm not sure how much more weight I want to lose - one of my work friends told me that a new pair of size 10 trousers were looking loose today (don't think she had her glasses on!:rotfl:). I have 1 lb to go to my 20 lb target but there's still a few wobbly bits so could do with maybe a few more lbs.
Even if its only a few more lbs to lose they seem to take the longest to go and then there's the small matter of maintaining it all - where I've definitely gone wrong before. So I'm in too - will have a proper think about a realistic goal for me.0 -
Evening All
I've not been posting for a couple of days with being quite busy. I've had loads of exercise, but have eaten loads too - and the wrong stuff! I am not going to get on the scales just yet. Tonight we've been out for a meal and are going out to the cinema shortly so definitely not a great day.
B: Fried egg sandwich
L: HM golden courgette soup. Raspberries with Greek yoghurt.Steak, chips, peas, onion rings and salad. Lemon lush gateau with icecream.
Snack: Probably a Magnum at the cinema
Exercise: 1 hour Pilates. About 3 miles of walking.

The scales are my friends again! This morning, 2 of the water retention lbs had disappeared, along with about 2 inches of bloating from my belly.
When is it the current challenge ends again? Is it this week or next? I can't remember how long challenges usually run for either, but if the next mini-challenge takes us up to Christmas, then we could set 14lbs as the target (that might be less confusing for everyone else!) would that work?0 -
minicooper I haven't reached target this challenge but if I lost 14lbs I'd be underweight
.
B - spicy, fruity porridge, sk milk
L - panini with lettuce, tomato, egg, rf cream cheese
D - carbonara a la sparrer - fusilli, chopped rf sausage, onion, courgette, mushroom beaten egg, ff yogurt
S - fig, nectarine, satsuma, nana, melon
E - 1 hour gym. Bathed/dried one very hairy dog - exhausting!
Sweet dreams0
