  • Morning all! Hope the hangover isn't too bad Savesummore? Mine vary, I either feel so sick I can't eat at all or I have to eat everything I can get my hands on.

Went to the comedy thing last night and was an angel and only had 1 diet coke - I did have 2 choc digestives when I got home though - it was that or a takeaway so it could have been worse.

No im afraid its the eating carb variety of hangover :o

Just been into the sm and got some chapati flour, will post results later

B - spicy fruity porridge, made this batch with sultanas ans dried apricots, really yummy
L - salad wrap, boring with no dressing but was in a hurry as I was late for being picked up so it was sort of thrown together
D - chicken wing, roasted roots. Blueberries with ff yogurt
    S - nana, kiwi, fig
E 2 hours gardening, digging out and levelling an area to extend the patio, and create a soft fruit bed next to it. Didn't seem to get very far cos breathing has been a pain this past few days and I have a cold coming as well - I don't do things by halves - at this rate it'll take me until the frosts come but at least I've started :)

Enjoy the rest of your day, or your rest day, whichever was you see it :)

  • No wonder my clothes feel tight, I just checked my measurements and have an extra 1.5 inches on my hips and an extra 3 inches on my waist (but I just finished dinner, so that's not accurate). That's also very depressing... Hope it will disappear next week when I get back to normal.

Plan for last week pretty much stuck - had eggs left so made an LF version of toad in the hole for tonight and the plan for next week is:

M: stuffed mushrooms (rice, peas, onions, bacon, chicken stock)
    T: stuffed mushrooms (as above)
    W: Mince and tatties
    T: unsure
    F: Mince and tatties
S: Pasta with veg and pesto
S: Pasta with veg and pesto

A lot of the same I know! Plus crumpets and fruit for breakfasts, lentil soup for lunches, and fruit for snacks.

The chapati's looked good when I made them, portioned them, rolled them, dry fried them...then fell into a dozen pieces when I tried to turn one into a wrap. But if you spread them with a little ff yogurt, Vegemite and slice of tomato they make very dainty, if rather obscurely shaped canapes :rotfl:. Either made them too dry or they were overcooked but will persevere

    B - F&F, sk milk
D - fusilli with tomato and onion sauce, and flaked fish. Strange combination but very tasty
T - 1 chapati turned (fallen) into canapes spread with ff yogurt then vegemite and tomato, egg mayo, cream cheese and cucumber. Took long to make than they did to eat! Fresh fig
    S - nectarine, melon, nana
    E - 1 hour gym, 1 hour gardening

    Have a good evening :)
