I have lost the 3 lbs I put on last week so very happy and motivated now for next week.
Ragz - Please don't include in my running totals.
Well done on the losses and STS :T:T:TI must not fear. Fear is the mind-killer.
Fear is the little-death that brings total obliteration.
I will face my fear. I will permit it to pass over and through me. When it has gone past I will turn the inner eye to see its path.
When the fear has gone there will be nothing. Only I will remain.0 -
Ok, so I maybe cheated and stepped on the scales this morning. It was NOT good. I've gained 8lbs :eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek:
Do antibiotics cause fluid retention? As I didn't think it was possible for a person to gain 8lbs of lardiness in 10 days! That would mean I've been eating thousands and thousands of calories a day!
Food-wise my week has been alright so far, everything from a low fat recipe book, and low in calories. I've had to keep eating small meals to stop the antibiotics upsetting my stomach though, so there have been a few snacks this week, mostly krisprolls and a bit of light brie, apples (except on the day I took cakes to work, and had 3x1.5inch square cakes). Obviously I was away last week, which can't have helped!
Antibiotics have definitely made me more thirsty - been having about 4l a day.0 -
Morning all
Weighed in this morning and I have gained 1lb. That puts me at 4lb above pre-pregnancy weight. Hoping to gain less than a stone in total, so want to gain less than 10lb in the next 9 weeks (assuming baby comes on time), but won't worry too much if it's more, just trying to eat a balanced diet and stay roughly around my calories.
Today probably won't help though, as a friend/colleague who moved t Scotland in January is back for a visit today so we're going to canteen for lunch and then out for curry and drinks tonight. At least I won't have any alcohol calories to worry about
Meals:
Breakfast: yoghurt, babybel, pear, satsumas
Lunch: canteen (will try and have a jacket potato w/ beans & salad, but it's fish and chip day.....:p)
Snacks: if required, granola bar, apple, mr kipling cake bar
Dinner: curry - 1 popadom, main with veg side dish and a chapati, no rice. Variety of soft drinks, have got a bit bored of lime and soda, so may splash out and have a couple of real cokes. (woop woop!)

He is making some tomorrow so will measure stuff out
I use these for wraps all the time and have to say i find shop wraps very thick and 'rubbery'
Yes please - I would like that recipe - I also find the wraps a bit rubbery although slightly better if microwaved for 30 secs.savesummore wrote: »Thats sounds a great time!! Well done on your loss - is it another week before your hols?0 -
I went via Tessies this morning for my little print out and I have lost 1.7 lbs lol so for the purpose of this challenge will make it 1.5 lb and this brings me up to 6lbs. I started slightly before joining this challenge in prep for my holiday and started at 73.7kg on 8 August and am now 68 exactly (not sure how to work out the lbs in that lol) so I am pleased with that.
Wont be weighing in next week as off on holiday on Sunday. Am hoping to be relatively good and swim most days whilst there.
Have a good weeekend everyone0 -

i would move the scales and see if that makes a difference 8Lb does not sound right to me , but 4L of fluid would certainly retain unless you are living on the loo;)
either way hope you are feeling better/comfortable soon
just stripped for the scales ( curtains closed first of course reporting a 1 Lb loss:j dont know how i managed that one well it was nearly 2 but only counting the whole pounds so am well chuffed only 5lb off my target

L poached egg , grilled bacon , tomatoes, beans
D H/mveg chilli and pot wedges

Morning
Just caught up with everyone since Tuesday, you all do make me smile, and laugh out loud.
I've had a really awful stressful week at work, diet wasn't great, exercise nonexistent and yet I stood on the scales (twice ) this morning and have lost 2 3/4 lbs !!!
How does that happen? (The body is such a weird and wonderful thing) So can I report a 2lb loss please and will leave the 3/4 for next week.
Today:
B: 2 toast and a nana
L: tuna salad & yoghurthm curry & rice
S: not sure
Ex: will do the usual 5 miles of dog walking and 30min body pump dvd if I have time. Lots of housework to catch up on today.
Well done to all the losers and :grouphug:to everyone else.
