Hi everyone - sorry for lack of posting - I have been reading - I love reading what everyone is eating :D I am really busy this week to make up for being off on hols next week. Had lots of meetings so not kept my water intake up.

B = porridge and ss milk (getting a bit bored of this now but I am sure hotel next week will have more interesting stuff :D)
L = wafer think chicken, lettuce and tomatoe wrap with a dollop of light mayo
S = steak, oven chips and egg

snacks = still got a couple of ww fruit crumble biscuits so one of those, grapes and I think thats it - my snack draw is running low.

Oh and LOTS of water today.

exercise - still not managed anything extra this week besides looking after horses (not even been on exercise bike - just too tired at night :o)

Have a good day everyone :D

    Morning ladies :)

    Today:
Breakfast: porridge made w/ SS milk and 1 dessert spoon demarera, yoghurt, babybel
Lunch: WM bagel, chicken, philly and rocket, pear, satsumas
Snacks: mr kipling cake bar, granola bar, apple
Dinner: DH is cooking as he's working at home today, no idea what he's planning

    Exercise: swimming

I also need to bake something to take to NCT class on Saturday, we're having a bring and share lunch so was thinking of a lemon drizzle loaf - at least I can't cut into that before the day! I'm really craving my Nannie's chocolate flapjacks though, so might make some of them. Oats are healthy even when there's a centimetre of chocolate on top right? ;)

Well yesterday went really well until I made biscuits 'for the children'. I ate more than they did! Luckily I stuck to plan apart from that though so hopefully damage can be minimised.

Went for a jog this morning for the first time in AGES, pleased I managed to jog more than walk (40 minutes nearly altogether).

Breakfast - 2 bacon, egg, tomatoes and a small chipolata.
Snack - small amount of 81% dark chocolate
    Lunch - ?
    Dinner - ?

Umm, best find find I suppose!

  • Hello all,

Awful week this week (shh, don't tell savesummore, it was all the cake! :naughty:)

Not looking good for weigh in tommorow, trousers are feeling a bit snug :o

Food has been ok every day until i get home from work...then i'm cooking, cleaning, feeding kids, shouting to do homework plus helping out the in-laws. Need to get into a proper routine with the twins (5 yrs) and it might settle down a bit. By the time all that is done, plus any washing/drying etc, i'm pooped and cannot be bothered to eat the healthy food that i have cooked and so have been pigging out on comfort food i.e. cake, crisps, ice cream. Not so much a healthy dinner for me but the rest of them are eating beautifully healthily

Note to self: sort it out gaga

Hope everyone is happy and healthy - you guys always make me smile whether you've lost or not.

    Group hug people!
    Have a good day everyone

WW your mutt is welcome for a holiday, it's a bit like a zoo here most days so one more will make little difference (except he'd have to share the pizza :))
Sezzagirl anything that gets me off my b*m is exercise in my book ;)
ragz very well done on the jog, that's something well out of my reach!

re wraps, which LAM had for lunch yesterday - how do I know which is the best to choose? There are so many shapes and sizes that I'm thinking to buy the biggest and cut them in half would be sensible? That way I could have '2' with different fillings for a meal, or is that cheating?

    B - spicy, fruity porridge
D - braised steak, celery, peppers, onion, mushrooms
T - Ainsleys soup (tried the East Indian Mulligatawny last night, nearly blew my tongue off but it'll be nice and warming when the weather gets cold!) 2 Crackerbread spread w/ff yogurt, 1xVegemite, 1xrf cream cheese with garlic, and a smattering of pickle
    S - kiwi, nana, satsuma
    E - 1 hour gym this afternoon

I think one wrap is a good amount for lunch, but if we have them for dinner we have 2/3 depending on how filling the insides are (eg fajitas we have 3, but with chilli only 2 as the lentils and beans are really dense!)

For lunch I really like the Warburtons square wraps, they've got more of a flatbread texture and are really satisfying. Otherwise I just buy the larger plain flour ones from the supermarket and freeze when they're on offer.

Hi Sparrer - to be honest I have not been very MSE these last few weeks as I was desperate to lose some weight before my holiday. So, I bought ww wraps - a bit pricey - wasnt even sure if I would like them but 30 secs in the microwave (I store them in the fridge) and they are actually ok. I fill one with lettuce and tomatoe and then a meat (been trying to avoid cheese too lately). I found one stuffed one enough with a small pudding of either yogurt or a ww pudding (I bought a load of these a while ago - got them cheap at Farmfoods and have them in freezer). I will look into costs / calories / fat % on the others though.

After my holiday I need to assess cost / healthy / overall eating plan but someone told me make sure the fat % is less than 5% on the daily guideline thingy and you know I can feel the inches have gone (actually might measure tonight) and my thighs have slightly less dimples :D
