  • Hello all,

Sorry i've been MIA - it's been a hectic 3 weeks. Work have just announced the next round of redundancies (already been through 2 cycles, thank you Mr Lansley) so have had to apply for my own job plus a few more for back up. This, plus supporting my team plus kids back to school etc etc have added up to chaos!

Anyway, none of this has really left any motivation for exercise...although i still have a few pounds to lose to fit into my favourite interview suit so you think that would get me off the sofa :rotfl:

1lb off over the last few weeks for me Ragz, thank you.

Hope everyone is happy and healthy - i'm not posting food today (work bring-lunch-in-to-share-day to keep morale up) it has been carnage today!

    Happy weekend everyone :j

Arrgghhh! Got up late and forgot to weigh! Will do it in the morning instead - not expecting anything spectacular though as I've not done very much exercise this week as I'm back in work now.
Just been for an hour long walk with my gay best friend and the dogs and we treated ourselves to an icecream in the park - I shared mine with the dog as he was panting away and so limited the damage but have counted all the cals into my allowance to be on the safe side.

Going to have a rest this evening and then tomorrow will either go swimming or running, whichever one doesn't get done will be on Sunday instead. Need to do some vigourous exercise as this week has been poor in comparison to when I was on holiday from school.

Well done to all of the losers and maintainers - as long as we haven't gained its a win.

Could quite happily eat a takeaway or pizza tonight but will be good and find something better in the cupboard.

ETA - turned out to be beans on toast! Very cordon bleu!
  • STS this week but feel all bloated so that's ok actually. Hopefully next week I'll catch with next week

    b- porridge + dry fruit
l- salad with chicken, toasted tea cake
d- spag bol with not too much spag!

    e- dog walking as usual!

    3 Weeks to go.

Rosewood - we seem to have a pattern going on here! We still have 3 weeks to go though, still time to make a little impact...

I have had another sugar-free ish day, had a banana (they are high in sugar) and had chips with breaded fish and peas for dinner, just couldn't think of a way to make cauliflower go with breaded fish! I have been eating a lot of cauliflower while doing low-carb...

But I am still counting today as a success as I didn't have anything really naughty.

Morning - I remembered to weigh this morning and 1 lb lost!:j Its a minor miracle as I've gone back to work and the food could have been better and the exercise levels have dropped a bit. But I suppose I've been on the go for 9 hours a day at work (teacher) and still done lots of dogwalking and 2 runs.
I just felt like I wasn't as focussed as when I was off work but the loss has motivated me to get a bit more organised and to set myself a realistic goal for exercise this week.

So I'm off dogwalking in a minute and then its a trip to the pool for a mile long swim followed by a whizz round Sainsburys to stock up on good food.
As the weather is supposed to be good today I'll probably take the dog for a nice walk somewhere this afternoon a bit off the beaten track for an hour or so to get a bit of fresh air. There's also the cleaning to be done - I'll be about 3 stone by the end of all that ( who am I kidding!:rotfl:).
