Okay, so I have not done well this week, TOTM and other stuff going on and so I have been eating very badly. WI this morning at 11'11! Which is a pound heavier than when I started, or 5lb heavier than a few weeks ago! I know it is because I have given in to the sugar/carbs cravings/binges. So for September I am setting myself a little challenge... sugar free days. I am not going to have a target, I am just going to do one day at a time and see how many I can clock up.
None so far this month but today is going okay. So hopefully I will be on ONE tomorrow! I saw an ebook about giving up sugar in 8 weeks but it was 15 dollars! So I am going it alone... unless anyone fancies joining me?

I am adding this to my Signature to help me do it.

    So far today
    - 2 milky coffees
    - Bowl of chicken and veg soup
    - Cheesestring.

Off to see how the man fitting my new windscreen is getting on (£168 as insurance doesn't cover it... ouch!) - something hit it the other day as I brushed a hedge when the person coming the other way forced me over...

3 weeks  and Zante :D Cant wait

    Hi Savesummore

We are off to Zante next year. I'm excited about that and it's 49 weeks. I'll be exploding at 3 weeks!!!!! :j

    Anyway

I was ever so good today I had 3 weetabix for breakfast then 30 minutes on my exercise bike and 10 minutes on the trampoline.
Lunch was a ham and salad wrap
Tea was 2 l/f sausages, peas, sweetcorn, mashed swede and carrott.

And that's it for me today I think.

Savesummore - I went to Zante a few years ago and loved it, can I come too? I've done 3 days at work now so deserve a break, teachers eh?:rotfl:

Not a bad day so far, only eaten what I took to work and tea will be some quorn meatballs, passata and pasta.
Am going to force myself to go for a shortish run later to keep the legs going and to make sure that I don't go down the slippery slope of not exercising when I'm working.
Wore a new size 10 trouser suit to work today and got loads of compliments - makes the exercise worth it then!;)

I've had a very busy day today - not working just with all the exercise I've fitted in! I had a bad day eating wise yesterday. I didn't get to post but let it suffice to say in addition to my normal meals I also had a bag of crisps, 2 Cadbury's fudges, a double caramel Magnum and half a Twirl!! Today's exercise wasn't intended to make up for it but hopefully it will help.

    B: Poached egg on toast
L: Another poached egg on toast - we need to go shopping and there is very little left in fridge or freezer! Raspberries with Greek yoghurt.
D: Chicken in a creme fraiche paprika sauce with red onions and garlic, served with HG green beans and HG yellow courgettes. HM chocolate mousse
    Snack: 2 HM ginger biscuits

Exercise: 5 mile run with a 1 mile walk at each end. My friend and I then decided to go for a swim to use up her season ticket for our local pool which was supposed to shut on Sunday but has had its season extended. When we got there we were an hour too early but an Aquacise class was just starting. So we did that for an hour and then I stayed and swam lengths for another half an hour. The walk to the pool and back is about a mile. This afternoon it was so lovely we decided to go for another walk and did 7 miles. I've since then walked to the PO and up to work and back to collect something I left yesterday. So all in all I've covered about 16.5 miles on my feet and spent 95 minutes in the pool.

  • Morning All,

Weighing in a day early and happy to say I’ve managed to get back to where I was about 6 weeks ago but still haven’t made a dent in what I had aimed for during this challenge – so Ragz if you are looking for participants in a Pre-Christmas Challenge I will be signing up carrying the 5lbs (at least) over to the next challenge.

I am heading off on my hols tomorrow for two weeks :j:j so I think you may well be at the end of this Autumn challenge by the time I get back. I will try and be sensible while I’m away and will probably be doing quite a bit of walking but imagine I will put some weight back on as I foresee pre-dinner cocktails or at the very least a glass or two of wine with my meals , thankfully I don’t have a sweet tooth so will manage to give the desserts, gateaux, etc a miss.

Savesummore – I also went to Zante a few years ago (can’t remember the resort name) but it was where there were lots of markers on the beach to protect the parts where the loggerhead turtles came ashore to lay their eggs. Hope you have a great time.

Sparrer - I am sooooo jealous - Hot Air Balloon ride is also on my "bucket list" - but preferably somewhere like Kenya.

Good luck to everyone for you're weigh-in, hope you get to your targets.

Morning (for yesterday) all, better late than never!

Went to visit DM yesterday, left home at 7am, got back 11pm, so meals a bit all over the place -
    B - 2 slices buttered brown toast
L - sweet chilli noodles with spiced chicken. Love noodles but sadly wasn't worth it, have had better
Supper - 2 wm wraps, one chicken stir fry, one rf cheeses & tomato
    S - none!
    E - none!

Will report on today's later but just going to gym, think I'm going to regret this one. Will explain why later...

    Have a sunny day :)
