I tried the belvita brakfast bars once, but was absolutely shocked by the amount of sugar in them! It also recommends to 'eat it as part of a healthy balanced breakfast', like a latte (apparently 600 cals) and a banana = a healthy balanced breakfast?

I'm back from my hypno session, helpful in some ways - enforcing it is another matter. I dislike the idea of putting my knife and fork down between mouthfuls as I feel very self-conscious doing this, but I'll give it a go whenever I'm not eating in front of people.

Think I might step back from leaving a food diary and weighing in for a while until I get used to the hypnosis though, but I'll stick around, if only just to hear if welshwoofer has any more run ins with the old ex! ;)

I feel the same regarding the 'Breakfast biscuits'. Id rather just eat some breakfast (I know not everyone is up for eating 1st thing) but it must be healthier/cheaper to have a bowl of porridge or eggs on toast or fruit and yogurt-plain of course ;)

A girl I know had a couple of half price hypno sessions which worked well for the first week or so but I think you need a full course to get the full benefits

    Be good everyone :)

morning all-looks like im the first one to weigh in.

I appear to have lost 2lbs woo woo i say appear as i took 4 readings on my wii as they were all different due to our wonky floorboards. Of course i took the lowest reading as the proper one ha ha!

Found i wasn't really trying that hard this week the only exercise was on the wii which really isn't hard exercising if you ask me. So im really going to try and loose 3lbs the next week as then i will be in the normal weight category for the first time in 3yrs.

Do people find it easier to say what they are eating for the day or what they have eaten? As i find if i say what im going to eat it actually turns out totaly differnet to what i have actually eaten iyswim?

    Good luck everyone else.

Im not shocked as last weekend Fri-Mon I ate terrible and eat out pretty much everyday and have only been good Tues-Today this week

3 weigh in until hols :eek: and id like to lose 4lbs so no more excuses i really need to get my head right and go for it

Cocalls- i usually report halfway through the day at lunch time so I report what I have already eaten/what I have with me at work and usually i will have already taken what we having for tea out the freezer so it may only be the odd snack that changes for me

O i have to go to vets with a poor deceased cat  a neighbour knocked my door last night said this cat she thought was mine was beside the road ..when i went with my head torch i was upset to see it was, so teary i wrapped it up and brought it back and had a better look at the pooor chap , wrapped him in an old towel and put him in a card board box , my DS and I were to bury him after school today ....

half hour later....my cat was at the window... wondered what all the fuss was about what a fright. he gave us .:eek:.. such a relief though ...I did check the box ...but no there was no back from the dead for whoever i have in the garage, ( thought we may have a zombie cat on our hands ;) am gonna pop him to the vet to see if he is chipped i think

cocalls i find if i write down what i am intending to eat i usualluy stick to it better , but only have time to do this on my days off

Reporting a 1lb loss for the list please ragz. Quite surprised - and pleased! - after last weekend's holiday and guests overnight last night.

B - F&F, sk milk. 2 slices danish with ff yogurt & marmalade
D - Slice of pork tenderloin, stir-fry veg, 3 potato wedges, left-overs from last night's dinner
T - Boiled egg & Danish soldiers. Huge egg, one of a dozen my visitors brought from their hens
S - nectarine, apricot, melon, satsuma
E - Sleep! Missed yesterday's siesta, was up til midnight, got up at 6am this morning. Am so ccccccold, hate being cold :(, and can't face the air-con'd gym. Am just going to strip the guest beds and start the washing. Does anyone else get frustrated at having to launder bedding that's only been used one night? Such a waste of water, energy, etc.

However got to look for the silver lining, the sun is shining so hopefully it will warm up a bit. Have a good day whatever the weather :)
